EDIT EDIT: The real reason this irks me so much is that cities have THREE skills to lock down a dreambody (whirlpool, carcer, barrier), two of which force a bodysnap, whereas the communes get none

Same for ghost. And ghost can't get outta there. Plus, we can't even swim, so..blarghl, I guess.

Kether really needs an upgrade.

Whirlpool probably shouldn't hit dreambodies though.

Make sure you bug this. Flood effects should NOT be hitting dreambodies.

And don't forget mindblast, another city-only skill that owns dreamweavers.


Dreamweaving really needs an upgrade to be useful and not just annoying. And not completely overpowered by psionics. And Indigo/Chockmah should cost 1 power.

I disagree with most of those. We just could really use less willpower drain, or a way to regen willpower FAST while not in dreamform.

What we really need is a way to tell how tired someone is, possibly with dreamweave evaluate, but then dreamweave evaluate should be doable while awake. We have so many skills contingent on our prey being asleep, with the only way to do that exhaustion, and no way to tell how close we are to making them exhuasted.

Why does it matter though? If someone is exhausted, they fall asleep. They could be at badly needing sleep and it is as useless to us as if they were fully rested. Either you tire someone until they fall asleep, or you don't. If you keep tiring them, eventually they'll get there.

If I come up to someone and they are fully rested, I know it takes me 15 power to make them fall asleep, and that's not worth it in most situations. If I come up to someone and they are quite tired, I know it only takes me a single deepsleep to put them to exhausted, and that's very worth it. If I, say, go to a group of Celestians standing at the archway to the Etherwilde and check them all and one's nearly asleep, I can target that one instead of having to pick randomly and hope the person is nearly asleep already.

I feel like such an arse.
