Oh piffle, that's central. I thought you meant the North Country. I'm 20 minutes from Canada and 12 minutes from Vermont (that's how long it takes to use the Lake Champlain ferry).

Then why are you asking for New Yorkers? There are a handful of Vermonters here as well.

EDIT Oh you ninja! And no I wasn't looking for New Yorkers, I was responding to someone else who was. Asking for Vermonters would probably get me more nearby people. Or asking for Montreal people but I don't like Montreal people.

I'm in NJ, but it only takes me 2 hours to get anywhere in NYS. Who wants to meet the Revan?

Yah, it'd take me two hours to get down to the city or NJ and I'm only halfway up and on the same end of the state. But then again, Revan is insane so there's that.

NJ here, but south jersey...a three hour drive, at least, to get to NYC. Maybeeee less, if I took a bus.

You should tell me some, cause I been in this infernal place for like 5 years and as near as I can tell it sucks ass. Which might be mostly my fault due to various real-life-ness preventing me from finding much aweseomeness. But anyway, nobody cares. Albany people unite!

Hokay! So Anumi and I decided that it'd be cool to arrange a get-together at the King James Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, NY. That or hop to NYC for some debauchery. Those who are nearby post if you want to do something like that, we'll see how many people are in, and we'll arrange a meet up date!

Do it before the 7th, when my classes start, and I could probably convince myself to drive 4 hours to meet strange people.

Also South Jersey... but I avoid NYC like the plague. Though, it would be neat to meet my IC dad after all...
