Actually, they showed that clip on the Today Show. The story behind it is that the lady rescues tigers and lions and big predatory cats from people who buy them, thinking that they'll make great pets. They soon find out that they don't, and then the poor animal is abused and malnourished. That particular lion was rescued from a circus, and was abused and malnourished, close to dying. According to the story, the lion is just very grateful (Uh huh) and is showing her affection and love for taking care of him and nursing him back to health.

Not only are these some of the cutest pictures I've EVER seen. But they are also a great example of the steps that are being taken in the world of Panda Conservation and Research. It shows that all those donations I make to the Wolong Panda Center aren't going to waste.
