I'm not really looking at the skin colour here. unsure.gif (Look at Agrus Kos. As Elaria pointed out to me. Ha. tongue.gif)

I think Celest goes for a Blue-White deck since both are really adept at law bending heh no offense meant. Mag ought to be red-black being both forceful in sorcery and sacrificial, though vampire deck wouldn't actually be the thought here, more of a zombie-cabalist deck perhaps. Serenwilde ought to be Green-Red, an Elemental shaman deck anyone? Glom is hmmm more of a blue black deck, since from what I've observed they are mainly defensive in nature.

Magnagora:

Watery Grave
Underground Sea
Swamp
Shizo, Death's Storehouse

Entomb
Goryo's Vengeance
Zombify
Lich's Tomb (for the hell of it)
Liege of the Pit
Sengir Autocrat
Dread Return
Stinkweed Imp
Kaervek (even though he went Gloom)
Darkblast
Careful Study
Putrid Imp
Ichorid
Akroma, Angel of Wrath (they killed her and gave the body to Liege of the Pit there so she can attack the Star)
Cabal Therapy

...biggrin.gif Hybridised and extended-legal.

EDIT: Oh, and a completely unmanageable/uncastable 1of Hellbent Raider for Murphy.

Magnagora and Celest are more alike than most people care to admit.

I would say that Celest is white/red, except for the Aquamancers, who are mono blue.

Magnagora I see as more of a white/black (but a lot more black), maybe like Orzhov.

Whoever said that Seren and Glom are two different flavors of green - I agree. Seren leans more towards the dryads/elves, while Glom leans towards the fungusaur and that creature that grows for every creature in your graveyard. Seren is the side of green that aligns itself with white, and Glom is the side that aligns itself with black.

nonono.gif Get Phage, though. Visara sounds like a Celest card though. "Tap: Destroy target opposition. tongue.gif"
And Glom is like Golgari!

Unlike Gorky, I knew you meant Magic Decks. However, much like Gorky (probably), I have no idea what any of you are talking about after that.
Shiri2006-10-31 02:38:14
Hey, Magnagora uses Supernals!

And reanimating Phage would be retarded. And she's a Soulless anyway. That can be part of a Guido's reject cult deck or something.

Bumped! I think Gaudi is red-blue sleep.gif
Unknown2006-11-04 03:32:52
Serenwilde: Green/Blue
Celest: Blue/White in theory, White/Red in practice
Magnagora: Black or Black/Blue
Glomdoring: Green/Black
Gaudiguch: Red
Hallifax: Artifact deck
Ackleberry: Green/White or pure green
Gandal2006-11-04 03:48:46
Gaudi as it appears to others (esp. Hallifax) is red, but its reality is red-blue, because there are multiple references to the uncanny intelligence of dracnari in the histories, as well.
Shiri2006-11-04 04:17:29
How do you make Serenwilde blue?

How do you make Serenwilde blue?

Serenwilde strikes me as having rather strong political undercurrents, especially in its history and some of its dealings with other organizations, and blue's focus on subterfuge and manipulation reflects that. Just about all of them have aspects of blue, but I think it's more fitting as Serenwilde's secondary than any other except maybe white. Sometimes.

I'd still say they're pure red. Dragons and fire galore make it obvious, and it does have a handful of more subtle or 'mystical' abilities, though they're often crude or prone to backfiring (goblin spies, yay). They might even be red/black - I don't think blue would quite apply to the Illuminati. They strike me as dark cabalists more than sleek manipulators.

I already got Magnagora. Just not properly kitted out.

And I didn't know you played.

Yes you did. You sent me a PM about it.
Shiri2006-11-04 06:20:10
Oh yeah. Laysus told me. Nevermind!
Unknown2006-11-04 06:36:44
Serenwilde with 19 forests? Well we do have the biggest prime 'capital' so I guess I'd agree with that, but we'd also need some hills(non-standard white mana if memory serves) for the centaur hills.

Magnagora would so need -lots- of colorless or any-color mana too, including some strip-mines.

Edit:Both cities need some phantasmal terrain too, to do service to their mages. (It would even work well with a celestian blue deck, some of the big serpents can only attack with the opponent has an island, and celest has used the skill to do just that) All in all I'd feel offended if it didn't show up in at least one city deck compiled.
Gandal2006-11-05 04:03:39
What's Water Elemental?
