May have started a furrikin and ended one, but were you one in between?

Yes. For like 93 levels.
EDIT: Is this thread lagging stupidly for anyone else? We need to cut it off and start a new one at some point.

The entire message boards lag stupidly!

Yeah, but you missed all the frustration and annoyance I had trying to get the boards to even open earlier! And then the minutes of waiting for each page to load when it finally did!
It seems to be better now though *crosses fingers.*

You managed to take the compliment without using a smiley, and then segue seamlessly into a rant. Smooth.

Well, Refugee admitted defeat already... but I'm not holding him to it. Because his defeat was unfair really. So, I'm sticking to the rules unless he presses his admission of defeat. No happy smilies for me. It's hard! Already today I've wanted to make happy smiley four times!
And I do need to rave in the raves thread so, here's one: I love being a GA and am looking quite forward to revamping many things what need revamping!

Finally finished the 7th book of Harry Potter. Liked it a lot more than the 5th and 6th, though the ending was rather...dull.
As for Lusternia, RPing with a certain Serenwilder Faeling is totally awesome. And her father, I suppose.

I hope that four-eyed nerd got what was coming to him.

The heck? That's not released until the 21st! Of JULY!
And if you're not lying and you really do have it illegally somehow and have read it... please do NOT spoil the ending for me! I'm serious.

Umm, that book isn't out until July21st I thought?

Might be a fake... It just didn't seem very J.K. Rowlingish from the first chapter or three that I read. I'm going to be really disappointed if the book is like that when I go buy it.
EDIT: And publishers send out advance copies to critics and stuff for reviews, so it isn't hard to find them before they are released sometimes.

Tsk... reading bootlegged copies. Where's the fun in that? Part of the fun is the anticipation, counting down the days to the release and going to the midnight party at your bookstore and taking pictures of all the kooks dressed up and getting your book and then staying up all night reading it.
You miss all that fun getting a bootlegged copy.
And if anyone Spoils the ending for me, I swear to everything holy I will make Refugee's violent rants seem kittenish.

There are usually some hot older girls at those midnight parties

I won't be spoiling anything, no worries. It may very well be a fake, but a 660 page fanfic is a bit hard for me to believe. In any case, I found the story overall enjoyable, and at this point, I don't really care if it's genuine or not. I'll pick up a real copy, anyways.

I'll bet you think it's endearing that they bring their grandchildren, too.

I've read an 872 page AU fanfic... and am enjoying each new chapter of the (so far) 389 page sequal that gets released about twice a month.
But thank you for not spoiling anyway!

My grandmother and her twin work in bookselling, I get advance copies all the time because of that.
Never any popular ones though.
But, today has been awesome. First day of work over, summer vacation begins.

I'm starting to get really back into the game again and wanting to do things instead of just tinkering with shops and disappearing! Yay and stuff.
