I've really enjoyed using it so far, surprisingly, and the people I've spoken with have all been a lot of fun. I can't imagine using it to call a landline, though.

Yeah, it still surprises me, not as much when it's text though.

Skype had a promo deal last year that was free calling within the US (and maybe Canada) to landlines or mobile phones, so I used it a lot just because Skype has a really odd caller ID number.

It's a lot of fun! I was a bit nervous my first time (and, who isn't?), but after the initial awkwardness things just flowed naturally. Really, it was a wonderful, beautiful, very personal experience, and I can't wait to try it again, if someone happens to offer. I know that sounds a bit strange, but I think that being able to share yourself with people that way is really phenomenal, and if you find someone with whom you can do it often, so much the better! The more the merrier, I say!

Also, seeing that you all have a thing for accents Although you might not hear it. The funny thing about my accent is when I speak to foreign people I unconsciously switch to a bland american accent so I become understandable.
