Someone fill me in on what happened?

Psst, that's the scarlet kingsnake. *wink*

But guys, everyone knows Lusternia isn't supposed to have fighting, gawd.
Arix2007-07-09 12:17:17
I miss conflict quests. They were a bit irritating sometimes, but they were something to do

Although to cite other examples of how well that theory has worked out in other venues, Mhaldor had to be beaten senseless for well over a year before they started to get things turned around.
And then they all ended up as vengeful jerks!
And then they all ended up as vengeful jerks!
I prefer skipping all that work and mess and going straight to the vengeful jerk stage. I'm going to disrupt the typical "You did it to us, so we'll do it to you, so you'll do it to us..." cycle by taking revenge for acts that haven't even happened yet.
RAWR!
Gwylifar2007-07-09 16:50:16
The issue's never been conflict. It has always been the right of any one person who happens to be unable to find ways to occupy herself on her own, to decide on behalf of a hundred other people what they're going to be doing for the next few weeks, even at the cost of completely going against all available roleplay reasons. And those hundred people having no say in the matter and no way to avoid it other than playing some other game. That's what Lusternia's about when it's at its worst.
Amarysse2007-07-09 17:02:01
This is the Raves thread! If you want to vent your bitterness about the impending war (and, admittedly, given the stated motivations for that war I can't argue that said unhappiness isn't justified) go to Rants!

Well, I wasn't so much ranting as answering. But your point is taken.
My rave is no longer being bound by a leadership that tosses away all roleplay, and ignores the will of the people for whom they're making big decisions, because they happen to have trouble finding something to do in a world full of things to do. I get enough of that in real life! So, hooray!

If this were rants, I'd have plenty to say about the past two posts...
Anyway, as for raves...Mag is getting stronger again! I don't really like seeing Celest in decline, but it's always interesting when the power begins to shift. Who knows, maybe Glom will come out as the uber-oppressive, militaristic org this time? The rest have all had their turns...
Arel2007-07-09 17:55:27
My Rave: If Glomdoring went to war with one of the cities, our uber-oppressed plebians wouldn't dare voice their dismay on the forums for fear of being utterly destroyed by the collective might of the Shadow Court.
Unknown2007-07-09 19:06:29
A Seren-Mag war would be nice. Maybe Glom could join up with Seren. If only...
Ravewise, Undervault rocks so very, very much.

I'm worried about a Seren+Celest+Glom vs. Magnagora. Seren and Glom have no treaty with Mag, while both communes have some sort of treaty with Celest.
Ahem. My rave: Playing Reiha is getting really boring and tiresome , even with all the drama , and I'm starting to like my first character again. He was created with a set RP/personality in mind, and it's been very satisfying playing him. And people get are a lot less OOC in his org, which makes me pretty happy Too bad one of the people I wanted to interact with ran off *peer Kromsh*

People are OOC in Mag?

People are OOC in Mag?
I'll pretend you were being serious.
And yes, in Celest and Serenwilde, but less in Glom. By OOC, I mean, outside friendships, backstabbing, and high scholl type BS that's sadly become prevalent of late. Didn't want to deal with it, considered playing another game, but I like Lusty too much

We have a treaty with Serenwilde?

Not exactly, but Seren lost a war, and they signed... some sort of agreement... and they're at peace, members can't raid Celestia but they can raid Nil, etc.

If anything, it'd be Seren vs Magnagora+Glom with Celest helping Glom.
Kind of an overkill, if you ask me.

Which, currently, is how it looks.
Too bad this isn't a rants thread or I'd be blowing my head off.
