As I said-- sure it can. Remove funds from the Ministry. "Why pay for a damaged Construct?"

The only fix is to make it so a damaged construct doesn't decay if there are no funds in the Ministry... at which point, a Construct could be hit for 1 damage to make it "free."

By the way-- what's the full announce?

You think destroying your own construct so the people who spent hours destroying it wouldn't gain power isn't lame?

I'm more happy about the 'Weakenings occuring at the different times.'

We can raid more often (well, every 4-7 days), instead of "Hmm, maybe they'll attack, best to stay on the defensive for now."

Unless I am mistaken, removing all the funds from the Ministry would also cause you to fail to pay your guard upkeep, and thereby lose all of your guards as well.

I think that it's still coded to be plausible. Though the current coding means that other constructs go down as well-- you pay a higher price for the end result.

What's the full announce, by the way?

Guards don't take gold upkeep monthly, just power. Wouldn't lose any guards to it. You'd just lose all the constructs.

Actually the better half is a Sox fan. We're going to see them in Camden Yards next week. I'm only going to see the park and for the food. I love the Yanks but the new Stadium is sorely needed.

Maybe they should have a trickle of gold upkeep then (1 per wouldn't be that taxing) just to prevent such blantent abuse of the construct system in the future.

As I said in the other thread-- you could just keep 1000 in the Ministry. Wouldn't trouble guards, would trouble Constructs.

The new weakening stuff. While I have it all pretty much figured out now (I'll probably just need to find someone to help me with a Moon tracker now), it's been a lot on my brain. I like the fact astrologers are really needed now, especially to figure out mini-weakenings. Can't just stargaze and find that out. Now just to ensure I'm not being asked every 5 minutes to check for the weakenings and mini-weakenings.
