A disembowel kill on Thoros? Very nice! He's usually not easy to get with things as difficult to pull off as disembowel.

I had my first real tastes of combat today (not counting clinging desperately onto Krellan's group as he plowed through earth lords like an overweight child through a pile of Ho Hos during that whole elemental against Etheral debacle).

It was exciting, and very confusing. Akui lost an ego battle (which I didn't even realize was happening until my ego number turned yellow), ran around trying to be a helper, got killed by Daedelion I think, in some big group battle thing, and then stag sacrificed in a different battle.

So I had a whole smorgasboard of deaths/defeats, and a few hours of my systemless-self trying desperately to read text scrolling by faster than fine print on a TV ad, and being very confused in general.

But... it was very exciting!

Oh, so that's who you are...I think you can get Palisade cheap if you want. I forget what you said your system situation is though.

Yeah, I made the forum account to ask for advice before I knew for sure I'd like playing Akui, so I didn't want to stick a name on it that I'd end up not using. Of course, thinking it through, using my generic name thing isn't much different.

I'm using Zmud on Vista right now, I talked to Iasmos briefly about Palisade, but the fun tonight gave me incentive to persue a system more actively.

It becomes so much more amusing if you've seen a picture of Krellan. (I have. Oh man.)

I've seen his picture, too. He kind of looks like... all of my male cousins. With longer hair. And more mal-nourished.

I love how people don't just kill Mammoth any more when I accidentally leave him in places, but instead send me a tell or message or something.

I always imagined Krellan as more of a deranged hamster chained to a keyboard.

I still feel kinda bad about killing Mammoth in Paavik a couple of months ago, so I kinda want to make up for it.
