Forcing innocent furrikin to do work for tainted orclachs isn't what I think of when I think about Celest and Light, regardless of who controls Estelbar.
Jigan2007-12-01 07:38:47
Celest isn't only overpowered in combat, but in politics too it appears. (Forren, somewhere, is dancing to "Can't Touch This".)

Working on becoming one of the family in the Dekovens is interesting. Quite fun too.

We don't allow them to take slaves.

I know. It was in response to Arvont saying you banning slaves to be part of some pact. I was just pointing out that you would probably have done it either way.

Orclach are not orcs. Learn your history!
Tervic2007-12-01 12:38:46
I went to go feed Squeakers today, and he's not a fish anymore! Yaaaaaaaaaay!

Much <3 to whoever fixed it.

EDIT: http://forums.lusternia.com/index.php?show...mp;#entry455531 Hrmmm...... Squeakers' new description seems rather... familiar.

I still like it though happy.gif

She said orcs were tainted orclachs, which is true. Orclachs got tainted and became orcs.

Not exactly. Orcs were orclachs who could not maintain their forms and degenerated into a lesser, weaker race. There are orclachs who 'resisted' the mutations effects of the Taint (but not the Taint itself) and became stronger for it.

EDIT: Just to clarify my point, once they turned 'orcs', they would no longer be considered 'orclachs'.

Uh.. no. I'm still right. Orclachs got tainted and became Orcs. Whether or not there are those who didn't does not change the fact that all Orcs are Tainted Orclach. tongue.gif
Navaryn2007-12-01 17:10:09
Read my edit tongue.gif

All Orcs were once Orclachs, but are no longer considered as such.
Unknown2007-12-01 17:28:26
Keep on soldiering, dude. You know who you are. wub.gif
Krellan2007-12-01 18:19:59
I'm great at tearing up friendliness!
Tervic2007-12-01 20:12:32
All orcs were orclach, but not all (tainted) orclach are orc.

I'm still all happy-like that someone used my description for Squeakers, even a whole what, 8 hours later?
Also, <3 for Evette for being bat censor.gif crazy enough to leave me speechless.
Shishi2007-12-01 21:07:02
Richter being awesome and generous to Shishi and Evette as always for putting up with me in general. smile.gif

Nah. Different argument-- there was no Orc Cleansing.

(Or if there was, they just went back to normal Orclach)
Eldanien2007-12-01 21:46:33
Wyrd is Taint Lite. Spooky, strange, but without the fangs and tentacles.

Hyrtakos2007-12-01 22:24:55
What is the difference between an orclach Paladin and an orclach Ur'guard? One is tainted and to the best of my knowledge when you honours this Ur'guard he will not be a "male orc".

The Ur'Guard isn't actually tainted until he becomes a Lich and is an undead Orclach (the strong Orclach became undead orclach when tainted, and all was good! The weak ones were twisted into sickly little orcs).

It does imply that the taint doesn't actually infect any of the people in Magnagora who aren't Viscanti and/or haven't become a lich, though-- and that the taint can be cleansed from a non-Viscanti with a few deaths.
