Examined:
Perhaps the most distinguished feature of this mat lies in its unique size and shape, consisting of the full length of a prone aslaran and sewn into a squashed outline of the feline creature. Scraggly tufts of sandy fur have been mended into the mat's hemp mesh, seemingly not skinned from a beast but instead forcibly yanked free from a living specimen. This is evidenced by the tears in the fur's roots, as well as the poor condition of the acquired pelt. Golden claws tip each finger of the mat's paws, each marred with splotches of dried blood, whilst a single leaf has been sewn over the aslaran's pride. Gleaming emeralds have been sewn into the aslaran's eyes, and an onyx button supplants the nose.
I'll be immortalized as a rug! Pretty much a dead rug, but still.... immortalized.

PSt, Shorlen. Talk with Dylara on what she wants to set up with the Guild concerning the Council. I at least like to think you all elected me in to be able to speak for Hartstone instead of just gripping against everyone... Least make it so it appears that way if its not?

Pssh, I just think Serens are pansies compared to what we used to be back in the day We're like Celest was back when everyone made fun of them. All I gripe about these days are Serenwilders And we elected Dylara to speak for the guild, not to speak for Shorlen, so Shorlen hasn't been terribly helpful when it comes to his thoughts on policy, because he wants Dylara to decide for herself, or to ask the guild as a whole.

Where did you hear that? The war stopped brewing because Terentia revoked her request for Seren fae. And apologized. You know, Celest was the one asking for this to end, not Serenwilde. We simply agreed that if they weren't going to attack fae, we wouldn't attack angels. Just as before.

And Shorlen, throwing temper tantrums isn't how you fix Serenwilde. Working with the leaders to figure out what's wrong and how to help with it is much, much better.
