Kinda late but...
Serenwilde finally got their executioner, which is a crazy lady who reads bones and has the spirits tell her what to do. The fact that her family is an old druid family and apparently ties in with someone connected with Soulforge and her vehement cursing of this person is just awesome. The fact she kills people is just a bonus. As well as providing a little gold/exp/karma quest for newbs. I absolutely <3 it.
QUOTE
Inside a haphazard hut.
Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky. A
calamus plant enjoys life in the swamp here. A bush of bog myrtle thrives here
in the swamp. A horehound plant thrives in the swampy waters here. Bandrui
Fyrgenwig chitters to herself, wild hair drooping about her face.
You see a single exit leading out.
Muttering harshly under her breath and dressed in nothing but marsh-stained
rags, this thin mugwump woman is a sight to behold. Yellowish strands of slimy
hair grow from her scalp, drooping down to cover most of her face in unkempt
clumps. Her eyes are large and wild, seeming to see things beyond the ordinary
veil of this world. Her limbs are skinny, and her shaky fingers grasp a grisly
multitude of bones, which she continually rattles in her hands. Despite her
oddities, however, she bears a gentle beauty in the oval of her face and the
smooth, mild green of her skin. Around her neck hangs a single, silvery shard of
bone, adding a beauteous mystique to her otherwise wretched coverings.
Bandrui Fyrgenwig looks to be crushingly strong.
She weighs about 125 pounds.
She is loyal to the Collective of Serenwilde.
You see nothing in it.
Tranquil swamps.
Superimposed over this location, an ethereal forest reaches up to the sky. The
bright sun shines down, blanketing you with its life-giving warmth. A calamus
plant enjoys life in the swamp here. A horehound plant thrives in the swampy
waters here. A bush of bog myrtle thrives here in the swamp. A bloated,
battered, and burnt corpse lies here halfway in the water, rotting slowly.
You see exits leading north, southeast, southwest, and in.

That's so awesome!!! I hope Celest can get something as neat too

A rave for being the corpse mentioned in Sarrasri's post and getting to test out the new executioner. It's even more awesome to actually see it happening.

Pish, Celest doesn't need to go through such barbaric measures to kill off citizens! We just guilt people to the point they do it themselves. If that fails we send them off on a crusade to kill a demonlord.

Ashai and verbal spars. Who says we have no RP?
You actually had me grasping for something to say for a while there before I poofed.

HUGE HUGE HUGE raves to Lisaera, who got Bandrui finished in record time after we stopped waffling, and who doesn't actually rain blood and destruction, but is the ultimate in cool either way.

MAP!
Yeah, it's interesting. Not that great compared to a zMUD map, but if you don't have the time or inclination (or zMUD)-- this has a lot of potential. Especially when it's finished and it's possible for everyone to autowalk to certain areas.
Acrune2008-02-23 00:47:04
The maps are very cool.
Arvont2008-02-23 05:02:42
It reminds me of the MUSH LMTS mapper. Kinda like that.
Unknown2008-02-23 15:27:30
Ooh pretty. This will be really useful. I notice that the map above the Pool of Stars has some funky disconnected rooms at the bottom right corner, not sure where those came from!
Ilyarin2008-02-23 15:39:12
I think it's part of the inside of the Empyreal Academy.
Unknown2008-02-23 15:51:54
Ah I see, it must be showing all the rooms on the elevation then. Interesting

If we had income taxes in game, then you'd be up for some tax! Relief of debt is a taxable event! HA.

The Seal of Harmony worn by you sends forth a tempest of pale light which renders a mass of tentacles inert and unmoving.
The detritus of killing the corpse of a mass of tentacles turns to gold in your hands.

My rave: thinking the ascension event was today, deciding to say screw it to have lunch (until 4pm) with a few friends, and then finding out it's not today!
