We aren't getting Jojobo right now.

I know. But there was more stuff from Jojobo (Damn fae) than from Ackleberry in the last few years, sooo....sadface.

Nocht, the Silent has bestowed His divine favour upon you. It will last for 2 months. jumpfire.gif
Shiri2008-03-23 01:47:38
Jojobo seems cooler than Ackleberry anyway. Especially with the vaguely hacky-seeming stance Lake has. What would have been even more interesting is if it was Moon that protected Night from Sun, but oh well.
Rika2008-03-23 02:25:38
Glory be to Jojobo!
Laysus2008-03-23 11:26:35
Lisaera, for being the best reason to play Lusternia I can think of at the moment, especially with the exchange last night before she shouted at Nocht.

QUOTE
With a focused look, Rika strikes at you with an imperial twilight-steel broadsword, and you raise a golden sunburst shield. Rika's broadsword strikes your shield, which completely absorbs the blow.
You follow through by swinging a golden sunburst shield with all your might, smashing it into the head of Rika with a resounding ring.
With a deft move, Rika retaliates with a quick swing of an imperial twilight-steel broadsword at you, and you raise a golden sunburst shield. Rika's broadsword strikes your shield, which completely absorbs the blow.
With a deft move, Rika retaliates with a quick swing of an imperial twilight-steel broadsword at you, and you partially block the blow with a golden sunburst shield. Rika strikes off your left ear, and blood fills your ear canal, making you somewhat dizzy.
Your illusory doppleganger completely absorbs the damage.
You shrug off the effects of the poison.
With a deft move, Rika retaliates with a quick swing of an imperial twilight-steel broadsword at you. You are struck in the cheek for a small flesh wound.

I found this cool.. all the back and forth parrying makes the combat sequence really interesting. Although, she retaliated three times to a shield swing :<

Not retaliation-- haymaker. She was trying to just damage-kill you without working at it.
Rika2008-03-24 03:40:46
I thought I had moved the parrying to the legs already. Guess I was wrong! Next time, you're dead, though. wink.gif

I actually was despairing of defeating you just before the very end. From the time I gained momentum, I counted 21 attacks (19 mana/ego minorsixth, and 2 minorsecond+crusadercanto) At about the fifteenth attack, i was like "Dang, what does a man have to do to win around here".

accidentally not putting illusoryself back and using the power on maelstrom turned out to be the difference maker though.. I think your mana was shot somewhere in there..
Rika2008-03-24 04:05:24
I'm not sure what happened either. You'll have noticed me eating herbs repeatedly. Oh, and I hate reflections!

The d'Murani clan and Thoros's Astral bashing trips. Good stuff.

Glad Mag is enjoying draining astral to nothing again.

From what I've seen, Thoros' group hunts have been concentrated primarily on virgins and haven't actually drained it... while Shiri and Sojiro did drain urns. (Not actually sure who drained mitrans, though. Annoys me, I like mitrans.)

You haven't been watching carefully then smile.gif

...what the hell? I didn't drain urns! I can't even tank the sodding things...

Just checked virgins, and they're still at a nice rainbow halo-- and that's where the really big group's been hunting the last couple of days (they even invited me to join them, but I begged off).

As I said, you haven't been looking carefully. They may keep virgo intact but they've drained libra and saagitarius that I've personally seen. Could have drained others as well though I haven't really checked.

they drained libra and saggi to defile and sanctify shrines, or atleast the perpetrators say.

It is logical they would chose libra and Saggi because they are the easiest spheres for group hunts.
