What, I don't pay attention to other people's alts

I love the RP of being able to kill the demons/supernals but it seems like they are all just constantly being killing each time it is possible. While this causes some pain for the entire city, both from needing to defend as well as essence gathering, it causes way more harm to two specific guilds. Is this just the way things are meant to be? It seems at this point that both orgs can muster enough people to kill them with ease when the other side does not have enough defenders around to stop it.

My rave is for getting jumped for the first time. I know that might sound odd but it is cool to know that I at least caused someone to take notice enough of me to bother. I just need to change my highlighting colors so I can tell the difference between a PC enemy and my current NPC target. I died before I even figured out what was happening.

Precisely... and now both cities are dead intent of slaughtering the cosmic lords of the other one every single chance they get and I don't know what can stop that anymore. The raising and killing is all fine... others just have NO idea how bloody painful it is to the two guilds both in term of mechanics and RP. Not to sound biased but I think it's even worse for the Nihilists It's not just the power we need to re-pact and work to re-deep pact, but the fact we need to lich before each time as there's a death risk (certain 2 deaths as far as I'm concerned), so that's 40 power for two lichings, 50 for pacts, 10 for deep pact... and then the experience loss from deaths too on top of that And if you are deep pacting to the meanies, add another 20 power and more exp to that.

Show us guardians some love people...

PS. No, I refuse to use reflections. That's like throwing RP out of the window altogether. I want to have my cake and eat it too mmkay?

Surely you can accept that it's not actually any more painful for other Nihilists since they can all use reflections, though, even if you insist on not doing so.

It is definitly a RP thing, throwing up reflection when you pact with the demon lords is very, blah. Your avoiding their way of doing things. I think if anything it promotes Lich. We might as well suck it up and just go "Hey, we want our badass tough as nails Nihilists RP so we should just take the deaths." Sacrifice for having what we want as it is all very nice.

Though I do sometimes wish other people had to deal with the deaths. The power use is beyond annoying, horribly annoying.

Tweak damage? If Thoros needed 9k health to survive Baal and Ashtorath with his trans resilience and other stuff then... this really isn't happening for anyone else, is it? If it was like 5k +/- some really messing afflictions suitable for each then it would be more feasible and indeed survivable with some 'preparation'. I guess Demon Lords are above DMP.

Edit: Meh, nevermind. I don't really worry about it too much. I just find it highly annoying that we're the only ones set up to have such losses and everyone else seems to think it alright. I just worry about the young ones who will soon whine about all the exp lost and getting people to reflect them and then laugh as the Demon Lords rage against their tricks. "Take THAT sucka, should have read the small print of our pact agreement! *cackle*"
