Meh the Mag-Celest conflict has been worse/more adrenaline pumping too. Right now the war is warmer than it has been most likely because Ixion and some of the Mag old timers have come back.

A real serious war in my opinion is when the Star/Necromentate is constantly taken down for about a week and you have Mags in the streets camping out the Isle of Light in a real serious way with a Fain/Terentia defiling war on top of that raging in Astral. I remember that when Daevos was in office pre-Morgfyre.

From a person who loses his symbol and works to replenish the Supernals, I like the protection of the new system but I do admit the older times were exciting too.

It should be possible to survive all the DL with proper precaution when pacting. Nihilism/Celestialism is pretty worthless a skillset without pledges/pacts. We already have to pay a huge amount of power just to restore those pledges. You shouldn't have to pay more power and be forced to lich. Besides, it's in the interest of the DL to keep their slaves alive. A dead slave is not of much use.

That said, I enjoy the RP behind how the Cosmic Lords function, and I actually wouldn't object to some sort of mirror function in the Supernals, such as a 5-10 minutes long peacing when pledging to Raziela, true blindness for a short while after pledging to Elohora, to reflect being overwhelmed by their power.

As for a rave... Xion.

Xion is awesome, even when you only got Cosmic Fire. The entire bubble has such a great atmosphere, the puzzles there are very fun, and there is a lot of essence to gather. I wish more people would visit Xion. Especially enemies that are more interested in intellectual propaganda than random killings.

So remember kids. Visit Xion. It's good for your city.
