I didn't have any of the moon avatars anyway. Not sure who did... but that's beside the point. The point is that if people are going to complain of reactions they don't like to circumstances when there are no commune scrolls containing what I should think is rather important information, then there does seem to be a problem with communication. Hell, I'm lucky if I can remember what I was doing last Wednesday afternoon after dinner, or even what I ate. Think I'm going to remember announcements in a game from a couple of months ago? Nope. And if there was nothing but newbs around with the wits to look for help in commune scrolls would they find answers to these kind of crisis situations? Not in Glom. I think Krellan had Selene if I do recall correctly, but really, I'm just not going to call foul on him on some rather infrequent event that wasn't followed through correctly, especially if there is nothing documenting what should be done to be found in the sources that we use to enlighten each other on these sort of things.

I'm told Glom had a help scroll for that sort of situation, but it apparently no longer exists. If you want to write one and send it to me, I would definitely put it into a commune scroll.

Eh, I would but I've already admitted my ignorance on alot of the workings on these sorts of things. Get to work, Shadow Court!

Yeah, I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff too. Maybe some kind person will read this and write something (or at least send me a message with instructions on how to do all the stuff).

Think of all the poor novices that could be helped. Perform a lesser evil to do a greater good!

Right. The Albion-slaying novices.

I'm thinking the little Glom novices who are upset and confused that some moonlight chick is attacking the Drums of the Dead because Serens are all terrible people IRL and raid at off prime hours.
Shiri2008-05-31 01:26:21
Oh. My bad.
Diamondais2008-05-31 02:12:31
Honestly, what is not cool about the messages for the Commune attacks? I wanna see the Glom one!

Krellan had Luna, I had Selene. Krellan gave me Luna because I told him to; he did not know either that you could give moon avatars to night avatars. Hell If -I- knew I would have split corpses; Luna for Glom, Selene for Mag. Instead, both went to Mag.
Well, now we know for the future.

Taking a deep breath, you tell an aslaran tribeswoman of the many benefits of
communal living in the Serenwilde, and how those in her village would all be
treated equally and fairly.
An aslaran tribeswoman slaps her knee and declares that, by the gods, the
Village of Shanthmark should follow the Collective of Serenwilde after all!
Shouts rise up from the Village of Shanthmark, as its denizens loudly pledge
themselves to the Collective of Serenwilde.
---
You play a minor second on a black violin laced with tendrils of silver and
direct the disharmonic notes towards Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness.
Blood trickles out of Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness's ears and from the corners
of his eyes.
The music here inspires you to greater heights.
Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness screams and dies, as his eyes fly out of their
sockets and blood splurts out of his ears.
You have slain Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness.
A king's ransom of golden sovereigns spill from the corpse.
You suddenly scoop up the corpse of Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness.
---
You give the corpse of Gwyllgi, the Dog of Darkness to Albion, the First of the
Crones.
Albion, the First of the Crones says, "Ah Gwyllgi, put down like the wretched
dog you are. Your presence in the Ethereal Plane shall worry Mother Moon no
longer."
Albion, the First of the Crones hands you a large bag of gold.
Your karma rises in response to your deeds.
Albion, the First of the Crones holds up the corpse of Gwyllgi, the Dog of
Darkness and bathes it in the pale light of the moon. Silvery light erupts from
its pores and consumes the corpse, leaving only a globe of silvery essence in
Albion's withered hands.
Albion, the First of the Crones says, "This is all that remains of Gwyllgi's
spirit that I am able to purify. Place it within the Mother Moonhart Tree, and
some amends shall be made for his wicked ways."
Albion, the First of the Crones gives a glowing globe of silvery essence to you.

What were the Glumki messages and if Gloom gets any avatars while I'm asleep, what are the Moon messages?
Xiel2008-05-31 05:41:56
I don't know what it looks like for Glumki since it was Rika who turned him in.

Raving for intense raiding! Even if... you know... I was on guard duty the whole time at the Wyrdling. My only wish is that more experienced fighters/druids were on, and less novices.
Unknown2008-05-31 05:57:38
Serenwilde vs. Glomdoring/Magnagora. We raided to kill off the last Night Avatar (Lhiannan). We lost, but it was a close and exciting fight.
EDIT: Also because this helps Magnadoring but not Celenwilde. Yay!
EDIT2: I mean, it helps strengthen the fact that Magnadoring exists continuously while Celenwilde doesn't.

Adding a rave for an intense resurgem coven experience with Isandir, Cordala, Lisuarte, Aramel, Myrkr, and Galaphyrae. Overall awesome teamwork and timing.
Also thanks Amavan, Sylvanis, and Kaylee when I was struggling under new resurgem coven.
