You carefully study an artisan design.
Item: Tapestry Type: Tapestries Org: Public
Commodities: silk 100 cloth 50 merian 5 goldtint 5 marble 5 onyx 10 bluetint 10
redtint 5 steel 10
Space: 25% Furniture Type: Wall Furnishings
Outdoors: No Container: No Can Have Lock: No
IMPORTANT: The main noun of this item MUST use this name: TAPESTRY
Appearance:
a tapestry depicting an eternal game
Dropped:
A crimson tapestry cascades down the wall here, immortalising the Divine at
their play.
Examined:
This awe inspiring piece of work is composed of the purest Angkrag silk,
with bits and pieces of stone and metals woven in to give it more form
and substance. Upon it are shown various Divine, standing around an
elaborate chess board. Playing the crimson pieces is Lord Fain, perched
regally upon a throne built of bloody marble. Behind His steel mask, His
eyes glare across the board at His opponent, Lady Terentia, playing the
white pieces. Closely examined, each piece resembles a figure from the
Basin, including Morvior as the red king, and Malicia, the white queen.
Her face cupped firmly in Her hands, Lady Terentia ponders the game laid
out in front of Her, each piece a possible path to a win, or a loss.
Behind Her, you spy Lord Elostian's intangible form, leaning close as
though to give council. To the side towers Lord Morgfyre, snacking on
some tasty morsel, or mortal, while contemplating the board.

Whoever submitted that, you rock.

part of this is a rant leading to a rave.

Rant: I lost a bet last week and I have to run a D&D game on Sunday

Rave: I downloaded the 3.5 edition of Tomb of Horrors, and the group has no idea what I will be running
Further rave: I found out that it uses the Libris Mortis book, which, after Heroes of Horror and Lords of Madness, is the book most likely to cause a whole table of gamers to cringe.
Even further rave: Two of the people who will be sitting in are hardcore min/maxing powergamers who aren't big on logic and/or puzzle solving, and I don't like either of them

COOKING - DIETICIAN

You have mastered your control of your diet to such an incredible degree
that your need for food is lessened, and attacks that prey upon your
nutrition will be only half as effective.

Finally. Also, major rave to Myndaen for credit loan. Which subsequently gave me enough bonus lessons to trans cooking, my first trans skill, to go with the spatula!

EDIT: No skill lists on forums!

Why, thank you!

It was actually supposed to be different, but the Charites wouldn't go for it... sad.gif

As you watch, the scene changes slowly, each Elder taking His or Her
turn, moving a piece while the onlookers comment amongst
themselves as to the wisdom of the moves. Setting this knight here, that
pawn there, the struggle proceeds until Lady Terentia makes one false
move, and her king is quickly put into checkmate by Lord Fain. The scene
shimmers, and resets, ever the same.
