I always feel good when I complete a quest, even if it's one I've done already. I keep messing up when I do it, so it feels good to figure it out again!

It was all downhill after you lost GC, my son.

A faraway melody wafts past your ears, and before you blossoms the blessings of summer. Words interweave themselves into the song, but their meaning lies just beyond your forlorn grasp. As the keening beauty of the song fades to still silence, you know with a sudden certainty that, in time, all summers must pass.
That dream almost made me cry... ...it is so beautiful.

Fain, Safiyah, Sthai, Karnagan, Melville, and now Shaddus! I just love being in the Order. It's by far the most enjoyable part of Lusternia for me.
Sarrasri2008-07-07 23:20:22
500 power for doing an easy quest. (I think it's easy, at least.)
Desitrus2008-07-08 00:06:10
It's 620 if you don't mind some 'nam-style hallucinations.

Getting Guildrank 4 last night, and then becoming both an undersecretary and protector today. Whee.
I think I've already gone further than I've ever really gone in a guild before in an IRE mud, heh. Not too much of one to seek out ranks or positions usually, hehe. This is cool though.

Why, thank you!
It was actually supposed to be different, but the Charites wouldn't go for it...
This awe inspiring piece of work is composed of the purest Angkrag silk,
with bits and pieces of stone and metals woven in, in order to give it
more form and substance. Upon it are shown various Divine, standing
around a chess game. Playing the crimson pieces is Lord Fain, perched
regally upon a throne built of bloody marble. Behind His steel mask, His
eyes glare across the board at His opponent, Lady Terentia, playing the
white pieces. Closely examined, each piece resembles a figure from the
Basin, including Morvior as the red king, and Malicia, the white queen.
As you watch, the scene changes slowly, each Elder taking His or Her
turn, moving a piece while the onlookers comment amongst
themselves as to the wisdom of the moves. Setting this knight here, that
pawn there, the struggle proceeds until Lady Terentia makes one false
move, and her king is quickly put into checkmate by Lord Fain. The scene
shimmers, and resets, ever the same.

The submitted one is way better. Less biased (read: will appeal to more people), and far less stupid. Furniture can't have magical properties. This is Lusternia, not Hogwarts.
Rave: umm... go go computer cleanup.

The former makes me think of Pratchett, and the latter a covert trip to the clinic.
