@Lendren: Ensure the lovely arena still eats people, I'm sure it's hungry.

Congrats on shop ownerness. Also I need to apparently become better at fighting telekinetics, I think it was probably all the blackout. @_@

Umm, Rave for Jigan getting ownership of the Wailing Woman Inn! It shall now be stocked with foods galore I assume!

RAVE: Shikha, loaning me her cubix so I could go get a few merians for a lute design.
RAVE: Dysolis playing cubix tag with me. That last merian took me a bit , but I finally got it!

Zortabi, the Wyvern Tender gasps in horror as he diagnoses the egg.
Zortabi, the Wyvern Tender says, "This is a disaster! We must save this egg at
once! Listen to my commands very closely. I will call out instructions for you,
and you need to follow them exactly. If you screw up, the dragon will surely
die."

Zortabi, the Wyvern Tender says, "Here we go..."

-process spam-

A magnificent dragon egg cracks wide open, giving birth to a beautiful dragon
wyrmling.
You gain a new honour!
You have earned the blessing of the Elder Gods!
Your karma rises in response to your deeds.

Zortabi, the Wyvern Tender exclaims, "Holy Dracnoris!! I can't believe my eyes!"

The dragon wyrmling cries out, a sound that pierces the thick stone of the lava
caverns.
The piercing call of the dragon wyrmling rings across Mount Zoaka, a cry of life
and exuberance.

A massive shadow swoops over the Basin of Life, towering as tall as a mountain
itself as it flies swiftly towards Mount Zoaka. Eight wings and twin tails
buffet the skies, scattering the clouds in the wake of the massive ruby-scaled
serpentine beast. The dragon cries out, shaking the Basin to its core.

The gargantuan dragon swoops down, calling out to the newly-born wyrmling.

The wyrmling squeals in delight, flapping its papery wings and hovering in the
air, eventually gaining speed and flying swiftly upward through the vent in the
ceiling to the looming shape overhead.

The massive dragon flaps its wings in a cold swirl of wind, flying over the
Razine Mountains and out of the Basin of Life, followed by the flapping of a
tiny wyrmling - a mere speck against the dragon's great bulk, until both vanish
at the edge of the horizon.

Now, break time to let my brain rest. wub.gif

Double post, but eh. wub.gif Coders. They understand me and my nub-like tendencies to forget that to get a skill to work, I need to activate it. >.>

Ellinwood, Kharaen, Amarysse, Lyrinae and Bhiele (even if we're still working on getting you to a rehearsal!) and whoever designed/coded the stage system. You people are awesome and making Eliron's first play so much fun! wub.gif

LITERARY WINNER: Winter's Gloom written by Lendren Starfall, Herald of the Seasons and published by the Great Library of Serenwilde won with a score of 87.

Even though I felt Winter's Gloom to be my best work ever, I thought it would be a lot less popular than my more-accessible plays, because of it being abstract, moody, and somewhat experimental; so I'm trebly tickled to have won the trifecta with it: Bardic, Theater, and Library.

Now it's time to yank myself out of my dry spell by setting aside the "next project" that's got my inspiration dried up, and doing something else.
Revan2008-07-21 16:06:26
probably because you're the only one who ever submits plays. Tsk.

Edit: Not knocking it since I didn't see it. Just making a point
Saaga2008-07-21 16:13:20
Just to let you know, Revan, Lendren is an exceptionally good writer.

EDIT: /ward Lendren

I normally keep my opinions to myself, however I just wanted to say - I thought Winter's Gloom probably -was- your best work yet. I, to my newfound regret, have not read the previous two pieces. However, Winter's Gloom was exceedingly well done. It really, really was. The dark feel to it just made it that much more enticing. The characters were real to me, and though there were some liberties taken, I really could close my eyes and picture Rowena perched over Laeroc, her venomous, bitter soliloquey. It was amazing, it really was.

I'm trying to change that! And not just in Serenwilde, I want to see more theater all over the place, especially good theater. I loved La Donna for instance.

Psh, Lendren would win anyways. tongue.gif
