It's the first time I've fought a group and managed to kill people without dying myself. Not something that'll happen often.

There's something liberating about knowing that my last ambition is well and truly dead. Now I can be the one to say unpopular things that are nevertheless true. Not that saying them changes anything, but at least they've been said.

This sounds suspiciously like a rant. Whats up?

This isn't even about that, though. Entirely different subject. Actually, two entirely different subjects. And yeah, they're rantish, but the kind of rants not worth ranting about publicly. So instead I try to find that silver lining. And it really is liberating.

You should rant about it either on the rants thread, these other two subjects. Keeping them bottled up and being pissed off will only make you feel worse...

Some rants only get worse when they're aired on the forum. Surprisingly many, actually.

But the point of the rave was that the death of that ambition did let me rant about the second one publicly, in-game, because I no longer have to worry about whether it'll impact my chances about the other one, since I no longer have any. That's the whole rave, in fact.

The other one, I'll rant about privately to people I know are willing to listen, or at least pretend to and not complain too much.

Being free of politics is amazingly liberating. It was one of my major gripes about leadership.

For whatever reason I forgot to mention this in the rants, but a rave to Anisu for being one of the only reasons I ever bother to log in to Lusternia.

The first official action I took after returning was to forge an x.x.280 klangaxe for Silvega. In a single forging.
