wub.gif Estarra for extending the credit sale. I was all sad 'cause my birthday is the first week of May and the credit sale would have ended right before I got my birthday money. But yay now that the sale is extended!

/agree. Mine's a bit later, but I still can get birthdaycredits too.

I have to admit. Certain people are genius.

So.. there's two Gloms in Faethorn, we kill one. He promptly comes back under grace and tries to mock us while we sit boredly at the archway. Meanwhile, the other Glom that fled before comes back through the archway. We attack. The Glom still graced watches his commune mate die while trying to mock (not sure what was said though since I didn't read it).

Anyway, that sure made my day. biggrin.gif

Heh, assuming Krellan was with you...

Wow, you sure are easily amused by non-funny things.

Watching Glooms try to be cocky (behind grace, of all things) while their friends are being killed alongside them is pretty funny, not the actual killing.

Um, just FYI, I've seen Serens not reject grace when standing alongside, say, Kaervas, and instead watched their friends die.

How is that funny? Apparently Krellan was there, as well, and they were farming little Glom-folk. There's not a whole lot to do about it at that time.
Shiri2007-05-01 13:41:03
Not be there, failing to reject grace and still trying to act cocky? Sounds like the best thing to do...rather than standing there trying to be irritating.

EDIT: And who were the "little Gloom-folk" they were "farming", where did you get that impression, and what were the Glooms doing?

EDIT: I'm taking offence to that. Looked at HELP MOONDANCERS lately?

I was amused at the 'grace + mocking' bit while their commune mate tried to fight (and happened to lose and die). Living or dying doesn't interest me as much, but if you sit there and want to mock people under grace, at least do so intelligently, Urazial. In this case it just got a guild member of yours killed that you might have been able to save otherwise.

PS: The fighting in Faethorn happened because we were raided, so we went out to get the raider that sat around there afterwards (... clearly inviting us to come). It's not that we just decided to do some random jumping of small people.

(1) Haven't ever seen that happen yet. If I do, they'll get a good smacking.

(2) See my above post. We weren't 'farming' anyone.

EDIT: And screw this.. the one who died was Caoilfhin. Doesn't look like small and farming does it? wink.gif

The less-funny action would have been to leave, go hunting, or come up with something interesting to do. I have an amusing image of it in my mind, assuming said Glom was being brash and cocky (i.e. attempting to assert their superiority) even while their friend was killed next to them and they could do nothing. This isn't to say that I agree with Krellan and Aesyra farming little Gloms (if that is what they were doing), but the irony of the situation (as I imagine it) does seem a little amusing, whether it is Glom or Seren or anyone else.

As, from what I can determine, Krellan and yourself were there-- how would it have saved his guildmember? Wane, wane, hex-- if the person doesn't know what they're doing, anything Urazial does (ie, choke) would just be counterproductive. You're taking enjoyment out of putting someone in a no-win situation. Two someones, that is.

Edit: Though I hadn't seen the name when I started this post, so I'll retract that. *Maybe* they could've gotten away if he hadn't been graced-- but yeah, odds are still pretty high against it.

Well, that last bit happened directly at the archway. So for Cao it would have been only one step to safety. What Urazial could have done is hinder any of us so she could cure up enough to enter the archway. Since he just stood there (and kept up his mocking during the fight) we easily overwhelmed her with hexes + fae. Usually she's pretty good at moving out if it gets bad.

And as I said, I'm not taking enjoyment out of her dying, but rather Urazial standing there under grace using laugh (and maybe rofl?) emotes when we try to hit and hit grace instead.. saying whatever he thought important while we were killing a guild member of his. You have to admit, that -is- in a way hilarious.

Not really. I've never thought it was hilarious when Serenwilders do it, either. Heh.

Uh read my above post, as I said we weren't 'farming' random people. tongue.gif

And I remember when Stagar was a Paladin and Magnagora attacked and killed Elohora. He sat there under prismatic barrier and watched, maybe even cheered them on. As Celestian that kind of annoyed me but I can imagine the Magnagorans found it funny.

Well I do.. Urazial is usually not bad at mocking, though it gets tireing after a while. This time however it was just the wrong place or time. Look at it from an ooc perspective. You try to look strong and make your opponents angry but instead you fail and make them laugh.

EDIT: So for me that's a rave.. I guess not everyone agrees with my sense of humor though. sad.gif

Happy Thread! wink.gif

I'm happy cause I'm nearly done (well, 2/3rds anyway! laugh.gif ) with something I'm writing for the city's library. Hopefully it'll wind up getting me another prestiege award. That'll be nice. But even if not, it's fun to submit things to the library - I haven't done it in much too long!

EDIT: Just for the emo part this would be fun to rp.
