I went to see Knocked UP, which was hilarious by the way, and I got carded. And I was paying cash so it wasn't like when they just want to check your ID to be sure you didn't steal the card. Nope, I got carded cause the chick thought I looked younger than 18. That's awesome. She even looked all surprised when she saw my birthday. She apologized and I was like "Nah, that's cool." and inside I was like "Heck yeah!"

I don't get carded for alchohol, and I'm only 21. >_<

This makes it hard to double bets over the losses to win back what you've lost.

I was just thinking about how fortunate I've been in the sheer quality of people I've gotten to play with since starting to play Lusternia. The intelligence, depth, maturity, and creativity of the people who either are currently or have been a somewhat regular part of my gaming experience have returned my investment of time (and occasionally money) into this game many times over.

Damn you both, do you know how hard I'm trying to not get back into gambling?

Each time I have the good fortune to interact with him, he consistently impresses me with how dedicated to his role he actually is. He genuinely behaves as an immortal forged from the soul of a mortal man, with all the shifts in perception and ideals that go along with it. The fact that he seeks out the Seal-Bearers from time to time, to see how they're progressing and if they're working to realize their potential, is phenomenal to me. It seems like such a small thing, but it's often the small, seemingly unimportant details that make the difference. I'm so ridiculously pleased that Soll won the Ascension competition, because I couldn't imagine anyone else (myself included) realizing so smoothly and vividly the concept chosen.
