So, if you've got a talent for creating quasi detailed characters and a fairly decently put together plot, I need your help!

I'm making a RM2k (RPG Maker 2000) game, and I need a storyline, because after all the work I've done with coding and char/map building, I don't have it in me. So feel free to post any tidbits of story you can think of, or possible characters (for any fantasy midevil rpg setting) here.

Anything's helpful, as long as you're not a douche. Thanks!

Um..map and charachter info you have already?

I have the designs made up for the characters and the maps, the actual graphics, but they can be altered to fit a story.

I mean, do you have any particular landmarks that could be worked into the storyline, city placements, etc. Any way the character looks, dresses, their class, etc.?

Pretty much at this point everything is open to interpretation. I have roughly one hundred and fifty possible character graphics, and they're SNES quality, so it's not like a detailed character description is really needed. I have mountains I can use in the worldmap, and I can build cities at a whim, so whatever anyone wants to throw out can be used.

Hm..Ill see if I can send something, Ill certainly give it thought. I cant promise though, running into a bit of a problem with a current project. sad.gif

Tidbit of setting I wrote for a fantasy world a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

The world, due to some unspecified magical catastrophe, is a sphere composed mostly of water with a high-pressure ice core. The single continent floats on the planet's magical field, and is simultaneously pulled down by gravity.

The strength of the magical field fluctuates along with the seasons. When the magic is at its weakest, the continent is at its lowest. This is the high tide; during it, several sections of the continent - Inhabited ones, even - Are completely submersed. When magic is at its strongest, those areas are dry land.

Contact me if you're interested. I have some very detailed setting involving it.

A Lusty based game, that'd be interesting. But then you might have to worry about copyrights and the like.

Pfft, it's RPG maker. How would you have to worry about copyrights when you're making a lame-ish SNES-ish type RPG for home use?

I decided to go with a Lusternia game, actually. This first installment will be about 8 hours long (unless I add in more stuff as I go) and describe the events surrounding the Vernal Gods and their fight against the Soulless! Play as your favorite of the nine against the Soulless and take on Kethuru himself!

Continuing installments skip the player age of Lusternia altogether, set in a non-canon storyline where a human in a quasi post-apocolyptic Lusternia travels to each of the Great Ruins (Celest/Seren/Mag/Glom) to access their Power Nodes to ascend to Vernal Godhood!

The reason I might have to worry about copyright is because while the first game is under 12 hours long and free, the sequels (of which there are two scheduled) will probably be sold for 20 credits a pop if people are interested in buying them (as they will be 30-40 hour events and will take weeks of almost constant attention).
