Should viability in combat depend upon being near omni-trans?

Does Hiriako have runed swords? If so, I can understand, maybe. But if he/she's just using plain swords, and you're dying in 3 hits... I'm sorry bro, but you're not that good against warriors.

Hammers:
59/120/280
52/126/280

Morningstars:
90/235/144
96/232/147

Flails:
168/125/175
170/120/170

None of them are runed. I am a Moon-using Serenguard, so most of the time you can add +10 to all of those stats.

Anyway, balance near/at omnitrans (for combat affecting skills) is crucial. So is balance at lower levels. We should do as much as possible to try and achieve reasonable balance all along the spectrum, from pure-inept (*snicker* We're there. Jab. Jab. Jab. Jab.) to entirely transcendent.

Then again, some classes aren't viable at lower skill levels right now. Try fighting a warrior around Expert skillrank, at best. They have limited and typically weak afflictions. Even with poisons, there isn't all that much they can do to stop someone. I'd rather be expert in my skills in any class -other- than a warrior. Transcendent, warrior is great.
