Level 50 and Astral in Planar. Dying to passive plane damage is a no-no.

I kind of wish I'd been flung to Astral BEFORE I knew it could happen last night....(or at all even ) That would have been a really neat adventure! Right now, I'm cursing the necessity of my job cause who knows what sorts of coolnesses are going on this very second! Or this! Or this! (and so on)

Okay... so nexuses shrinking and expanding, water around the Pool of Stars form in giant waves and knocking us off balance... flickering Planar Energies seen once everywhere (I was at the Monastary that time)...

I used to have a subscription to the online version of the OED through my university. I really miss it. According to the deeply shitty www.dictionary.com, nexuses is the plural. Personally, I've always called them nexi. I assume you're trying to decline according to a Latin declension... which I go with on principle, even if it's anachronistic here: the word appears never to have been a latin noun, but rather a creation of the seventeenth century based on the latin verb nectare. But I don't understand why you'd double the 'i'. Even if it was a Latin second declension, why would the stem be nexi rather than nex?

Spoilsport! I don't see how it hurts things to share quick updates. I won't be able to log in until 6pm central. That's over five hours from now.

But why? I mean... Well, if I was in game playing I wouldn't have time to check the forums very much in the first place (that's why my post count is only really high in the daytime, when I'm unable to play ). But besides that, it's not like any big secrets are being spilled here. Estarra hasn't come up and said "Oh, by the way, the purpose of this event is so the gnomes can ride in on the back of creatures from aetherspace and take over the Baisn of Life" or "Hey, if you guys would only do this, then the Nexuses/Nexi/Nexii will be safe" or anything.

So someone's saying they're getting thrown off balance? So someone's saying something wonky is happening on the Planes.... That doesn't solve any mystery for anyone or spoil anything for people playing right now... cause they KNOW what's going on. I don't.

And I don't even want to know the important stuff. If some group finds the key and figures out the riddle, of course they shouldn't share what it is! I'll have lots of fun trying to imagine what it is. But knowing the effects of the mystery doesn't lose the mysteriousness, just like previews for a movie doesn't ruin the movie. Just makes you want to watch the movie more.
