Right. Though the seals will likely be renewed only after the ascended god does battle with Kethuru and his many tentacles in the ruins of Old Celest.

Wrong question. Where is Xion is the correct question. To answer it, Xion is the last human civilization. It is underground close to the earth's core where its still warm. Some people are trying to locate codes that would give them access to Xion but the people that have the codes are notoriously difficult to catch as they appear only in dreams. Sentinels... I mean, hydrians have been deployed but they keep getting destroyed. The whole situation is widely touted as the end of the world but that's slightly inaccurate. Its probably the sixth time this cycle has happened wherein all life is wiped out save for representatives of each race who are then charged to repopulate the Basin. Outside the Basin is probably the Machine City. Er, the Soulless City I suppose.
And here I thought it was just a Half-Formed who had mental issues who wanted to break the seal of Avechna in order to free Kethuru and use it to destroy each and every Elder God out there

QUOTE(L PYRINNE)
This burning pyrinne is roughly fish-like in appearance, with glittering black
scales that sparkle with prismatic hues, and bony protrusions alight with
aetheric energy. Its gaping maw is large enough to swallow several igasho with
room to spare, and is lined with rows upon rows of menacing, needle-point teeth.
It has no discernible eyes, but seems to sense at the air with two drooping
appendages that protrude from its forehead like whiskers, ending in bulbous pods
that glow with a faint inner light. The entire pyrinne floats within a
torrential blaze of fire, the heat of which is stifling and threatens to
overwhelm you at any moment.
A burning pyrinne almost glows with nearly god-like power.

Why did everyone die to the pyrinnes only to have them go away on their own?

They got bored. Too easy for them

Why did everyone die to the pyrinnes only to have them go away on their own?
1) It was too hard and we didn't have the people required to take it down at the power level the gods had set it at.
2) The villages started and giving us the two conflicting requirements would have been annoying.
That's my theory anyway.

Hahah, you want to KILL one Ekard?
There was one in the Moors just now.
I, brave as I am, glance around and walk through them a little, and out of nowhere, the following;
This was in under 1 second, meaning those blasted Fire Fish aren't just deadly, they're fast too.
I wish you good luck killing it. -cough- Not gonna happen -cough-

I, brave as I am, glance around and walk through them a little, and out of nowhere, the following;
CODE
A towering, burning pyrinne suddenly appears in a burst of torrential flame,
screeching in malevolent rage.
Accompanied by the roaring of flames, a burning pyrinne opens his maw and
releases a hideously deafening screech towards you.
You have been slain by a burning pyrinne.
You become visible once more.
As your soul leaves your body, the elixir vitae courses through your spirit and
suddenly bursts in a bright light, forming a new body around your soul.

I just saw Ixion -run- from one... Have you any clue what it takes to make Ixion run? Ixion can slay Marani by his oncy (almost)! I'm going to start the Ixion fanclub and build shrines to him all over the Basin!
Well, not that, but he's damn strong!
All he said to me was;
"RUN!"
Again, best of luck Ekard!!

@Ixion: you noob!
I should go back to Paladins, i was so damn tanky back then.
With numen i was much more tanky then Ixion, he couldnt reach 24k health.
PS. And Ixion notice that after vitae you didnt had 8k health anymore. Surge was off after vitae so its something like 8k+5k or whatever is your health without surge.
