Is it truly possible to bash so well that in a short period of time you can get 20 credits in an hour or two? And if this is true or somewhat true.. how?

It's probably possible in the Catacombs. And with influencing on Crumdiwhatsit. And if you hog the Gorgogs/Merians and whore a few quests. I've never made gold that fast though.

Hrm. It may be possible. I remember a thread around here with Veo saying that she could make 100K an hour if I remember correctly. Assuming 5K market price for credit you could do it. If there is a guild/city credit sale at 2.5K a credit then that would be 40 credits an hour. Admittedly knowing nothing about warrior bashing I'd imagine it would be more feasible with speed rapiers and race with fast balance.

Veo doesn't make 100k an hour either, Myth busted, she can make alot but not 100k.... but even bashing catacombs, fully clearing it may net you like 15-30k, and cost more than 100 sparkleberries if you are fighting garshades


I am sure you can make 100k in a few hours or so, if no one else is bashing there, and you are jumped... but I dont think you really can do it with the little amount of gold bashing areas in game and the high amount of bashers

Best I could get was 30-40 thousand in one hour. But I couldn't do that day-by-day, because that wasn't only from bashing, but also from a VERY lucky stroke in quests.

10cr on hour possible, but 20cr - i really doubt.

Best gold per hour was on old astral and when gorgogs were for 250gp or was it for 500gp?
I cant remeber but if you bashed all merians you could get sweat gold.

I can typically earn 10-20k an hour just from hunting alone. If I'm harvesting...well, that's variable and the earnings there will skyrocket once I get enough gold in-game to finally buy those f'ing gloves!

Ratting has to be one of the worst ways to make gold. Sure you make some but it's super slow. Even gathering cows/pilgrims makes more for your time spent.

Kill aslarans, sell the to krokani cook, kill krokani, sell them to aslaran surtami. Go kill merians sell them to the gorgog. Keep doing this until you can kill the gorgogs and sell them to the merians. Tada about 20k in a few hours and amazing exp for your level.

Hmm, I'm not sure if my character can kill any of those. She's Celestine. If not, wonder if there's a Celestine-friendly version of what you just said.

Yea, Celestians have it hard to gain fast and easy gold.
You only option would be killing Krokanis and selling them to Surtami or killing gorgogs but those will be too hard for you for now. Also killing sharks and selling them to merian on Arysian is nice gold.
Pilgrims, scholars and supplicants are just great!!!
Killing ur'deads in Shallach will be too hard for you too and you would risk being jumped by Mags so its not an option for you, but gold and exp from that is sweet. You may try hunting orcs in Shallach and selling them to this guy by Catacumb gate, but he is undead so again shady thing to do for Celestian.
With those new areas i bet there is some easy gold somewhere there, but i didnt bothered to check. One things that quite easy gold was selling rabbits to oen of Igasho in Snow Valley.
Leading viscanti childrens easy gold too, but dont let yourself to be seen by Mags and look out on gravediggers.
No idea about Presidio, Tomborolla and that new mountain that i cant remeber name, there could be some easy gold too.

I really like how many new places we have, 2-5 more places like moors and Bondero and most peopel shouldnt complain about bashed areas.

I actually do sometimes mention weevils as a way to get gold for a newbie, while stressing that it is a very inefficient way of gathering gold-- it's something that can be done at a low level when pilgrims/scholars aren't findable, and I've got one little one who currently runs around collecting shadows and killing any weevil he sees while gathering shadows.

Shadows are great for experience, weevils net him a little bit of gold for running around like he would be anyways, and it gives him some variety.

It's not going to earn you a ton of expensive credits, but it's not *horrible* to do from time to time. Just don't get bogged down on doing it all the time. There are far better options out there.
