I'm having real trouble mapping this thing though, it doesn't go well with a normal grid system.
Hardly took me three minutes...it looks like a giant spiderweb.
Richter2006-11-19 02:55:41
But it's not on a grid, my feeble mind can't handle it!
And I'd like to see what develops from these, that old thread says we could get some neat things, if I remember.

It's actually PERFECTLY aligned on a grid-- just go by the diagonal connections instead of the straight ones.
It's a nice big web, just expand the rooms out until they mesh (use glance)

Little Shop of Horrors.
It pays to be a "old man"
Psh, even I knew that, and I'm 20.
Little shop, little shop of horrors *old style dance*

Kay, so... um, er, how do you go to this 'nexus world'?
edit: just realized that your new sig, Acrune, justifies mine

Ask your nexus keeper.

50 cool points for you if you know the reference!
Ive seen the movie you referenced, but my origional guess woulda been the Plant from A Wonderful Life. It wanted a friend..and to be fed.
Gandal2006-11-19 03:45:57
Wow, it was Nexus Worlds, what I suspected all along...

I don't remember a hungry plant in A Wonderful Life. I remember a corrupt banker, and the $2 that were supposed to breed more little baby dollars, and a car accident, and a librarian, and a wingless old-man angel...
... as well as other things.
But no plant.
I do remember the plant from the Little Shop of Horrors, now that it's mentioned.

The...Harvest Moon game?

For what it's worth...
I like how we still have "aftermath" for this and it hasn't all fixed itself. The rampant Pyrinne still being there is kinda nice in a way.

Hiriako2006-11-19 06:39:49
I'd almost like it if a Pyrinne were always running about. Could be fun to just...encounter sometimes.
"Rook, Godzirra! Run away!" Um...yeah. *cough* No offense to anybody, I know how difficult fricatives can be when you're not used to saying them. It's still a stereotype.
I knew the Little Shop of Horrors reference, and I'm not old either. Good old Audrey (Was it Aubrey? I can't remember that, gack). So no, you don't need to be old to know it. Some of us might be though!

Soo, I stole an aethership, flew all the way out to Celest's Nexus World, kill a couple fish, then fly all the way back home.. only to discover that putting them in the Shadowfalls does nothing at all.
Unknown2006-11-19 08:42:04
In the words of Nelson Muntz, again I say: HA HA!
Lysandus2006-11-19 08:50:38
I imagine Fallen going through all the trouble killing Denizens in Celest's Nexus world, coming back to their Nexus world, only to find out nothing happens and go's
"DOH!"

That'd be fun to play! Someone who's had a love potion snuck into their system (can you do that with food or something?) and falls madly in love with someone they normally wouldn't ever.
Yeah you know what's really great? I'm lighting Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Sorcerer". The plot is as above, more or less.
The fog worked I are teh happyyyyyyiiiiiedeeeeeEEEE!!!!
But I think I asphyxiated Geoff because it worked "too" well...

I was about to ask that... Tervic, are you high or "stressed out" again?
