Well atleast Saran knows vaguely what's happened with Elcyrion. Freaking tortured screams and big scary voices are not fun ic. (ooc'ly LOVED IT)

Wonder what'll happen with Elostian

Here's hoping he stays an active player. Far too many of the players behind Gods disappear soon after arrival.

Well, the temple had been sealed forever I think, and I mean sealed, as in big block of marble in front of the entrance. Also once Lacostian disappeared the wall of mists that led to lacostian's temple vanished, the only way to get in there now is if you happened to have logged out there.

Shame of such a huge temple though, must have cost the order a fortune.

Elcyrion would have had one too if he'd left us with the list of what we had to buy

I can image this conversation in the Divine Havens...

QUOTE

Estarra: Why is Tully in the temple?

Charune: Marina summoned him?

Morgfyre: Crap, why didn't we think of that...

Gorky: Heh Heh Heh...

Estarra: Okay, once they're out of there, make sure they get redirected to the portal of fate, and make sure the temple location is air-tight. No porting, order powers, or the what-not. We can ignore this.

Sior: On it, Madam...

Gorky: Heh Heh Heh...

Terentia: Read the latest News Post...

Gorky: HA HA HA

Estarra: ARRGH!!!!!!!!!

Sior: Well, Marina did talk to him...and Tully tends to be vocal.

Charune: He has too much gold...

Gorky: BWAH HA HA HA

Terentia: This is like the thirteenth sphere thing before we fixed it along with the typos in that room.

Again, sorry for any hijacking of the event. unsure.gif Overall, I loved it. happy.gif

...Ialie is in the unique position as former Mysterion and one of the key apostles of Elcyrion.

Might be worth noting that there never were any key apostles of Elcyrion, the Order never got that far (which is a shame). Let's keep the character-fusing to a minimum! Marinalies would be altogether too confusing.

Anyway, the event was wonderful, and while I'm sad about Elcyrion and Lacostian, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with Elostian.

Hoping there's an 'Elostian' helpfile forthcoming smile.gif

He could be talking about in the very beginning before you join when there were four. Brylle, Joli Myself and I forget the other guy and we had been named for the cardinal winds.

My point was that no one in Elcyrion's Order ever made it past OR5, nor were any official leadership roles ever defined or anyone appointed to them. Joining early and having a certain title doesn't seem to compare with being a long standing Order leader, but maybe that's just my personal opinion. Though this is especially true when, of those initial four, one went dormant after only a month or two, two quit the Order a long time ago (as in, before and just after Elcyrion went inactive), and the fourth even you've forgotten tongue.gif Invid was the 'other guy'.

This is moving off track though - anyone heard anything much about Elostian so far, in terms of role etc? Seems I have to find a new Order sad.gif

We don't really know anything except what he told us at Seriode, I think. No announces or HELPs, as of yet.

Elostian's pretty cold. Is that from Lacostian? I've never seen Elcyrion react that way. :/

Very much so.
Unknown2006-11-19 18:34:09
Yeah, I was referring to Ialie becoming one of the Four Winds.

I wouldn't call Lacostian "Cold", more "Detached" or "Stoic".

Something tells me he might be a good god for Glomdoring...although he seems more detached from everything I have yet to figure out where he'd be comfortable.

I have a feeling the old Lacostian temple might stay in some form after being redone by the Extreme Makeover: Lusternia Edition team. After all, I'm seeing Gorky as a combination of Ty Pennington and the Travelocity Gnome. laugh.gif

That's what you get for going against an established event claiming Lacostian is still alive.

In all honesty, I did sign on to find myself in Lacostian's Temple. I hadn't left his temple for quite some time, just popping in every now and then to read messages and public postings, deal with a few order situations, and that was it. I didn't know the mist was gone, nor did I know about this "Elostian" fellow or anything of the sort. And since I saw Icelus, I figured it was like the Isune disappearance. Volucer remaining behind as proof that she was still alive. I had no clue that Lacostian was, as Est put, obliterated and torn apart.

A man that speaks without knowledge is a man counted as a fool amongst sages.

Sorry again, Estarra, and everyone else as well. I just happened to pop in and assumed. *goes back to work*

And I bear more blame for making the public post.

No, Lacostian was never cold. At first, he might've seemed cold and callous, but after you got to know him, he was one of the most kind and loving admins I've ever had the pleasure to know. The first would have been Terentia and Est. Lacostian, IC, was always aloof until he warmed up to you. After that, prepare your ears to be talked off. I remember being the Mystericon and asked Lacostian once what a bird felt like when it was soaring over the basin. *sighs* I will have to say. The man's mind was brilliant, creative, and simply breath taking. wub.gif

There's only one other man I've ever met that could talk like him, and Suhnaye is no more as far as I know.

*cuffs you* It wasn't your fault. It was mine. Stop blaming yourself. Comprehende? comfort.gif
Hiriako2006-11-19 19:55:07
Lacostian was rather...yeah, Stoic I'd say. I had quite a few conversations with him back when though, and there was some humor and such. He was a warm god, I'd say.
Diamondais2006-11-19 20:07:41
Never saw Lacostian as cold. I didnt know Him too well either, whenever I spoke with Him He could be grave like when they brought out the insanity cure or He was nice, and even at times made me laugh. Was definitely one of my favourite Gods. sad.gif

This whole thing should be interesting though, and neat to interact with. Hope Elostian has a part in the future of the game, because that'd be neat!
Arel2006-11-19 20:18:36
Lacostian's temple is still there. The mists are changed though, now they are shadowy and such. I was even able to enter the temple. Perhaps Elostian is planning on taking up residence there?
