In theory you could launder money this way...
Transfer 10000000 gold over to imperian.. transfer said gold from your imperian char to your nubby over here so he gets a nice start...
Give lusty gold to lusty trader
Get impy gold from impy trader
give impy gold to lusty trader
get lusty gold from lusty trader for your noob...
Same with equipment etc.
It's clearly illegal, but pretty much impossible to track.

Well yes what Shryke said would be illegal, but I'm still not sure if trading gold between games would be. Gold are an IC item, however as Zarquan said it's allowed to transfer ICly gained credits. So why not gold? It would work the same way. Give lusty gold to xy; get impy gold from xy.
I honestly can't say I see much of a difference between ICly gained credits and ICly gained gold. If one is allowed how or why should the other not?
EDIT: And I find it mildy amusing that a discussion about the legality of an action can grow this long on the games OFFICIAL forum and get completly ignored by the administration. If it really was a breach of the rules, how high are the chances it would be ignored like this?
