I'll keep this short and bitter.

I'm leaving. I may or may not come back someday, but I'm just too bitter about this game - IC and OOC - to continue having a productive or fun relationship with it. I also have nothing to do in-game anymore, and generally way too many bad feelings pointed at me whenever I rear my ugly head, in or out of the game. I wish I could say I bear no ill will towards any of you, but that would be a barefaced lie. So I'll just say this - To the people I care about, I am sorry. To the people I'd rather not have to deal with - You know who you are - I am sorry if whatever animosity that happened between us was my fault.

In short, one month break isn't enough for this game.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Verithrax, I hate it that it's gotten this frustrating for you. Maybe after a while, you'll feel better about coming back.

For anyone that cares.. Joli is going dormant as well. I really can't see how I'm going to continue her roleplay and I've exhausted almost every method of starting something new. I just can't bring myself to start over again in another city/commune. I was planning on dragging Verithrax to Celest so we could go home, but he's perma enemied so that's out of the question.. and I hate everywhere else right now. I really wanted things to work out in the Cacophony, but they didn't for stupid reasons and I don't have the fight in me to fix things.

I will miss you, even if Veo didn't always like everything Verithrax did in game.

I used to hate him with a burning passion.. and you see where that got me.

That's all I can say.

Who will we buy clothes from now? Oh my god, Lusternia will be naked in no time! Noone to make clothes!

Know how you must feel, have similar experiences elsewhere. Take a break is all I can say, get as far away from the game as you can and find something different to do (that's the hardest part). Over time you'll lose the hate you feel and you can return, as your old character, or as someone new. Remember, it ain't worth it if you're not having fun.

Sad to hear you're going, you and Joli both. I think you two had a very good oppurtunity for some RP at improving Deepnight's populace and creating a culture, but hopefully the game will see you two around.

I do hope you aren't seriously under the impression that people actually bought clothes from him?

Well, Noola's never actually met Verithrax...

And technically I've never met 'Verithrax' either....

But I enjoy reading his posts on the forums. They almost always make me laugh, and when they don't make me laugh, everyone's reaction makes me laugh... and I like laughing!
