Hiri doesn't find Shayle scary... smile.gif

Anyway, all the advice above is good. If all else fails, ask on NEWBIE. You can also ask Hiriako for help at any time. I'm not above helping anybody with the basics of the game, be they Seren, Glom, Celest, or Mag! Hey, we all need new blood. I'm working on that issue in the Serenguard right now. Thank you too, your post has given me ideas of what can be done.

It doesn't work that way for Glomdoring members, however. It's a Wyrden forest, and only Shadow Faelings regenerate in Wyrden Forest-- which means that our novices don't regenerate, because they can't become Shadow Faelings until after they've graduated.

It's somewhat of a nuisance, but we try to find ways around it-- ie, the rings. happy.gif

HELP FAELING

CODE

o  Regenerate health and mana while in forest environments, Level 2.

If you don't regenerate in Wyrden Forest then it means it's not a real forest but still TAINTED! So finally we have an answer to that question too. cool.gif

More seriously though, I think they should regenerate there too. Have you ever asked about that?
EDIT: Especially since it doesn't say natural or wyrden forest in the help file, just -forest-

I seem to regenerate in Glomdoring, and I'm unspecced, but I haven't paid that much attention.

Anyway, there's been a lot more activity in Blacktalon the past couple of days. I hope it's re-inspired you. It certainly has re-inspired me.

It goes without saying that I mean that with no disrespect whatsoever to prior leadership; I haven't even been around long enough, and what contact I've had with Yeralih and the X-Man, I've enjoyed.

I haven't seen you about so I'm not sure how long you've been around. You could always read (or reread) GHELP FLEDGLINGS (our special help file for newbies) and the follow-up help files listed on it.

I think that at the moment, I'm one the few active higher ranked/experienced people in Blacktalon that you speak about. BT is currently going through a change in leadership but after the elections are over, find out who the new leaders are (HELP BLACKTALON is your friend here). If you need to be advanced and there always seems to be noone else on, try logging in at a different time of the day or send a message to someone to fix up an appointment.

Don't worry about our lack of members! I myself log on and 3 out of 5 times I'm the only person in the whole guild, occasionally the whole commune (I'm in Asia). When I log in at weird times for me or during the weekend there's suddenly more people about. Now, apparently having both leaders step down at once brought on a little publicity and a little luck. We've suddenly gotten more novices and some transfers from other guilds (well, I hardly see them with my own eyes but Pentu told me we had 8 or 9 people on at once just yesterday happy.gif). Don't worry, we're growing in membership. It's slow but it's growing. smile.gif If you have any good ideas on how to make them stay, that would be great.

Smoke mountain is godly gold. 10k an hour is pretty amazing.

There's an announce post a ways back about them splitting it up. It's intentional. It was made so that Elfen wouldn't regenerate in Blacktalon demesnes, and us shadowfaelings wouldn't get "excessive" regeneration in Hartstone demesnes. (None of the city specialization races get racial regen in their opposing org's demesne, after all).

Couldn't it be made so that faelings regenerate in both, but specialized only in wyrden?

It's a shame that after level 21 you can't talk on here anymore. I bashed rather fast through the first levels and afterwards I came up with a lot of questions, things people assumed me to know, and not being able to speak on the newbie aether was kind of annoying. I think overall there's a lot of things that are assumed to be known even in the newbie files. Myself I'm writing down everything I found "lacking" so I can help on correcting scrolls if it would be needed.

I think a lot of us would be interested to hear those suggestions, so that at the very least they could be included in guild help files. Mind posting some of the things you've found that newbies might want to know?

But then Hartstone faeling would regenerate in Blacktalon Demesnes.

You can make specialized in stag faelings/elfen only regen in Hartstone and Sylvan forest then tongue.gif
Richter2006-11-28 16:49:34
Niiiice, we're getting new people.

And I just tested, normal faelings do not regenerate in wyrden woods.

Even if you're above level 21, you can still speak on GNT. wink.gif
