Typical Verithrax.
Verithrax2006-11-24 02:03:57
I didn't get to engorge myself in turkey today. Hence, I must pinprick your consciences with the tiny slivers of unwarranted guilt.

Happy avian Holocaust day.
That reminds me that during dinner, my brother started talking about what if turkeys ruled the world, and they'd eat humans for Thanksgiving, and how much a 150lb human would cost.
Vix2006-11-24 03:12:01
My state's governor issues an official pardon to a turkey the day before Thanksgiving for "being a delicious Turkey."

Isn't it kind of sad how the slaughtering of innocent birds, right now, gets more attention from the general public than the direct and indirect slaughtering of innocent native americans, a couple hundred years ago?
Don't be silly. People aren't as delicious as birds, and hence are less noteworthy.
Have you tried eating people? So greasy.

Psh. The Spanish were here first.
Hooray for fleeing from England though!
Your wrong too.
Most likely, the vikings or some other nordic people 'found' America first (not counting Native Americans)
Vix2006-11-25 01:55:25
In terms of mass murder I mean. The vikings weren't known for brining smallpox and brutality to the natives now were they?
Jigan2006-11-25 01:57:49
The trick is, they were smart enough not to leave anyone alive. No one can say the vikings did it if no one -saw- the vikings murder everyone.

Reviving the thread to say I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and

I you Veo.... Happy Turkey Day.... and remember if it wasn't for the Indians... the Pilgrims would have starved to death... so lets all thank the Native American Indians too!!!!!

Tervic2007-11-22 01:27:24

Happy Stuff Yourself Silly Day!

Well, Happy Turkey Day! Even though my country doesn't celebrate the Thanksgiving you do. Ours is really political propaganda on a different day, the day when America saved (invaded) the country because we were getting too close to Fidel Castro. Go figure
Unknown2007-11-22 02:38:30
Has it really been a year?
Man, time flies. It feels like just yesterday I commented on this thread. I'm kinda depressed now.
Oh well, happy turkey day peoples. Much <3 to all lusternians.

I don't even remember posting in this thread, heh.
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it. To those who don't: Take a few moments before your evening meal to consider all you have and be thankful for it.
It's kinda odd, really. I've always been told: It's a day of giving thanks for what we have. Oh, sure, there were some people with a funky accent who came across the ocean and the indians helped them survive and all. But mainly it's about appreciating what you have.
Of course, I get to cook this year, so I'm not exactly pleased.
(Remember, it's not an official Thanksgiving meal without the cranberry sauce in the shape of a can.)

This would normally make me very bitter, but for the first time in ages I'll actually be having turkey day with a big family! Yay!

I love Thanksgiving. Only time in the whole year where my entire family gets together to wallow in our insanity.
