If I recall correctly there was a thread about guildwars ages past... but I just wanted to know a few things.

A- can you play the prophecies campeign with your character from nightfall

B- Anyone playing with a decent guild? I joined one but they seem to have no point what so ever...

Hmm...I'm pretty sure you can play the prophecies campaign, only thing being is that you can't do any of the Ascalon quests in Ascalon. But I could be wrong.

Depends on whether you have Prophecies or not. If you have Prophecies, then I'm sure you can (though I haven't been keeping up on such things - too distracted by Lusternia, Prophecies and Factions chars could both go to the other place). If you don't, then no, you don't get to play in Tyria.

I can give you a couple of names in my guild if you want. They're not an uber guild or anything, but they tend to be fun to play with, and reasonably skillful.

I'm an avid GW fan and player. You need the actual campaign which focuses on the particular continent to be able to go there. So if you want Tyria, you need Prophecies, Factions for Cantha, Nightfall for Elona. Nightfall is hands down the best of the expansions, I liked it about equally to prophecies, if not maybe a little more.

Any character comming from Factions or Nightfall, to Prophecies, starts at Lion's Arch and can do any story line quest that starts after that. While you can do ascalonian and shiver peak missions, you don't get any experiance from them. At least not the ones in Ascalon, haven't tried the Shiverpeaks yet. As for Guilds, I made one for myself so I could switch alliances for easy Luxon or Kurzick faction . Currently there are two people in it who I doubt will stay very long. I called it the Sovereign Serpents.

{EDIT: Oh yes, you have to have bought that campaign to be able to access that continent.

Prophecies = Tyria
Factions = Cantha
Night Fall = Elonia

But I won't be playing it very much as I am getting back into Lusternia... well, will be once I finish Final Fantasy XII and Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess.

Meh, I promised myself no games until I graduated, but I'm so not graduating when I had planned.
