Back to Common Grounds.

As far as I can tell... it's like this: a computer has a virus, we ran an antivirus and found that virus V was the problem. It was removed. Now, let's give that virus a second chance?

It was decided that Viravain was the problematic factor, what on earth made you think it wouldn't be problematic once more?

Yes, it does seem like they are changing. And in the past, people like Kaervas were rejected from Viravain's orders herself, but now he's a loyal Wyrdo. I agree with Xenthos about it being a hard road to join if you repeatedly attacked them. To be honest, community hopping to me seems a little trivial in this game.

I think the one thing I'd like to see more of from Glomdoring is a little more public diplomacy, such as a few more public news posts, maybe them codifying their non-secret rules in the Hall of Justice, etc (Serenwilde too, BTW). That might be helpful to indicate to the basin that things are changing somewhat.

Serenwilde recently put the Leaves in the Hall of Justice. So.. Problem solved!

Yes, we expect a bit of roleplay from people who were branded "Irredeemable," as part of their regaining status in the eyes of the Glomdoring. I know I told you that repeatedly, Yuniko, in IC terms. BEFORE accepting your fine and unenemying you to the Forest. I told you that since you had roleplayed a divisive force in the Glomdoring, it would take some counter-roleplay to be "reaccepted". Unenemying is a start, but it's not the whole thing.

I accepted my fine and I know what I have to do, thus I'm not really talking about me. Thats why the whole time I've been stressing I'm not talking about me. biggrin.gif

I really don't see how Thoros is an example of glom being to harsh... honestly.

When someone starts negotiations by saying "I promise to give warning before killing your citizens" its not really all that helpfull.

I believe you're confusing Thoros with Talkan here, to be fair.

I know the Serenwilde, at least, has asked for written letters in the past from certain prominent Magnagorans who wished to get unenemied, and Ixion was required to do a fair bit more (such as killing Glomdoring's Daughters of Night) when he wanted to actually join them, in order to "prove his loyalty". Is Serenwilde wrong in this case? Are they uncompromising, morally corrupt individuals because they didn't immediately trust Ixion?

I don't really think so.
Now who is making up outright lies about other organizations. dry.gif

From what you’ve said, you obviously know little to nothing about that situation so it's best if you didn't prove your ignorance by making up lies about it. If you want to believe serenwilde is out to get you, sure, but don't blame us for things we've never done just because it 'makes sense' in your little corner of the world.

Daganev2006-11-27 00:38:28
Viravain came out of a rose bush in her temple.

The rest you will have to find out in game. And I'm serious, I'm not being snoody about it.

I'm making up nothing. This is what Ixion has told me, both ICly and OOCly, that he did to prove himself to the Serenwilde so he could join (and was saying even as a member of the Serenwilde on an OOC level).

I'm sorry you find that difficult to swallow. smile.gif However, I've not made it up. Ixion may have, or you might be wrong.

"Ixion was required "

Ixion and other magnagorians volunteered to, on a few occasions. The serenwilde did not instigate or plot or require or even ask or suggest it.

They were even told when were going to do it that "no, we would not accept their help in swaying faethorn to us" and "no that's not what we're looking for". Seren's are very proud and stubbern, and I'm sure someone trying to slander them can agree to that at least.

Your statement or by proxy Ixion's statements couldn't be more incorrect, considering your whole point was "seren's done it so glom can too"

Did the actions take place? yes, but everything else you said is complete fabrication.
