I hate things going on in Celest right now with the tradeban currently on (which I am innocent and no idea what made the Moondancers impose such things), and hopefully someone out there is going to be my personal alchemist. I got the gold, I consume the refills fast and pay well, what more can one ask?

The Attai Aethershop is linked to the Celest portals and is usually always stocked with refills (2 health kegs, mana, bromide, fire, frost, mending, liniment, love, melancholic, antidote, allheale, magic ink, and vitae.)

The prices are pretty decent as well. My alchemist has access to the shop, so she free refills any kegs that go empty, ensuring that refills are almost always available.

Didn't our characters like... have a chat about this in the Muirn manse? Or was that someone else... hrm

The simple answer is of course to abandon celest with a whole heap of enchanted stuff and come to serenwilde

We did but I was thinking it's all 'goody-goody' cause the war is over and they're working for peace, guess I don't see any of it yet. Either way, I'll think about what to do with my character now.

blink.gif you know what Celest did to the Avatars and Aspects right? I'm surprised any trading is going on at all.
Diamondais2006-12-01 16:31:41
Ask in game about the war and what we did to each other, ask a Seren (heck, even ask me if you want) why we dont really like trading with Celest. Moondancers tend to be the ones that have tradebans on organizations on a whole, while the other guilds arent so bad. If you are really desperate, Id suggest you go to Glomdoring since they are Celest's main trading partner.

Doesn't matter if you're innocent, you are a member of celest and thus support them. tongue.gif

I'm not, be my alchemist slave! laugh.gif

I should add that Kharaen's alchemist was grumbling about the trade ban herself last night. Not... right... having to sit and watch someone beg for a keg that I'd be happy to fill - at a nice premium over my usual price, of course, since my usual prices are geared for Serens and/or regular customers.

But the trade ban's there in part because the war really was vicious, and in part because Celest hasn't quite gotten its act together in terms of enforcing peace. Besides, I don't like brewing for people when there's a strong chance that those fills are going to people who've killed me recently! So no brewing directly for Celestians for me. rolleyes.gif
Shorlen2006-12-01 21:31:59
Isn't brewing for Kharaen the same as brewing for Celestians? I thought Moondancer trade bans were also bans on supplying any shop that did not adhere to the trade ban in question. They were when I was GA at least unsure.gif

Glomdoring FTW?

There's only 4 of them and they're rarely around to provide service.
Krellan2006-12-01 23:58:38
Kaervas advertised earlier today

Only four. Psh. It's a commune. Every fifth person takes alchemy. That means that there's...

...oh, wait. mellow.gif

(In all honesty, there's a lot more than four Glom alchemists. The trick is getting them to care about you.)
Unknown2006-12-02 01:04:20
The Glom alchemists I've traded with were fairly nice. Yay for the evil forest biggrin.gif
Vix2006-12-02 17:43:37
Just wish there were as many enchanters as there are alchemists. glare.gif

And tradebans really suck. sad.gif

At least I don't have any incentives to get unenemied to Celest and spend my gold on their overly expensive fines for little old me. smile.gif
Laysus2006-12-02 19:10:20
Trade bans suck but they make me feel big.

It's hard being a faeling >.>

On the subject of enchanting....

If you find yourself somehow related either to the: Kalas, Tredia, Feyranti, or d'Erlette(forgot how to spell it), send Reiha a msg and if you mail the jewelry with powerstones (no stone, then it's 20 gold per charge) and what enchants, she'll do it smile.gif No service fee for family wink.gif And she's more than willing to enchant for enemies, at a wondrous rate of 175 gold per charge tongue.gif Everyone else 35 gold per. /shameless advertising
Krellan2006-12-02 20:01:06
I've found lots of enchanters actually, though not as many ones able to do all of the enchants cause you need skill in highermagic to do all of the 4 popular regeneration enchants. There's Reiha of course cool.gif and eruttu and malarious and revan and aiakon and so and so and so and so and i know a few others somewhere on the tip of my tongue
Zalandrus2006-12-03 19:22:49
Heh, the tradeban is absolutely horribly inconvenient (even though nowadays I always pop into Seren and go around their shops to see what's for sale).

I remember that before/during the war, I went to Glom, and most shops there wouldn't serve me. After the war ended, some Seren person (name not revealed to protect him and because I don't quite remember which one he was) messaged me and curtly told me that essentially that Celest shopkeepers were being stupid, not allowing Serens to buy there. I went over to Seren, and counted that about 70-80% of their shops weren't serving me either, and sent an equally curt message back to him. I never heard from him again about it (hooray for curt messages!), and now Seren shops do seem to be better, though I'm still served more in Glom shops I think.

Reasonably priced kegs are just hard to find.
