So I'm finally after, two years, learning to fight. Heh. Apart from the obvious mistakes (didn't noticed my talisman not being wielded, etc) any comments and suggestions?
I only won because Yini had recklessness. I've killed her twice this way, I know she'd normally crush me.
PS. Be nice, I'm learning.

One of your main problems seems to be disloyalty.
And you seem to run out of herbs so its a must to chain down a herbalist if youre not one ... Allheale isnt the best thing to rely on because it has a long balance.

Yeah the herbs are one of those obvious things I know I need to stock up on, heh.
Is there an effective method to deal with disloyalty?

Not really sure, but try charismatic aura?
I think the steep mana drain isnt worth the smile, but could be useful in fighting classes without mana based instakills.

Drink love potion, order entourage passive, order entourage kill Yini.
Transcendent Influence has CharismaticAura, makes you immune to disloyalty for a constant drain on mana/ego (forgot which).
EDIT: Now that I've read the log, I have a few comments.
First, work on anti-disloyalty. Drinking love isn't enough, you have to order the entourage not to attack you. Your crone was messing you up heavier than Yini did.
No need to reject her during combat. Your entourage attacks even lusted people.
Don't use allheale for regular healing, it has a 20 second balance. Don't worry about herbs, you don't lose them in the arena.
Why did you try to toadcurse her, without making sure she has below a half of her mana? From what I've seen you didn't even Moondance Lash her, so it was a waste of power.
What is your third skill? It's VERY hard to kill anyone decent with just Moon and Wicca. Even Healing gives you some tricks, with Succumb. I suggest Hexes for PvP though.

EDIT:
#var orderent 1
#trigger {The crone crosses her shriveled arms and turns her dark, penetrating gaze upon you.} {add afflictions repugnance elixirscan}
#trigger {You no longer will inspire disloyalty among friends.} {orderent=1;order ents passive;order ents attack @tar}
#trigger {You have recovered equi} {#if (@orderent=1) {order ent passive;attack}}
Covers you fairly well slight down side of sipping love when fighting your own people but meh not that big a loss if you know what I mean. You get the idea edit as needed.

That's going to do little good to anybody without the rest of the code which relates to it.

Do you really need to order them passive first? I remember testing it a few times, here and in Achaea, and can never remember my results, though I have a feeling that even with the tests, I've always thought you didn't have to. I mean, if I order them to attack myself manually, I don't need to order them passive before I tell them to attack something else.
Hiriako2006-12-02 17:28:55
Can't hurt...
ferlas2006-12-02 17:51:31
Hmm actually I think your right I can't remember either way chop and change to suit. Trigger one of your own personal ents hitting you to be disloyality and trigger curing it to make you make them attack again if you have balance.

Third skill is astrology, but I'll switch over to hexes soon. Astrology is just too hit and miss when it comes to which afflictions you'll be giving.
Thanks to everyone for the tips. I know I'm a total newbie when it comes to combat so any advice is appreciated.
Acrune2006-12-03 05:47:24
Aww, but astrology is so fun! Plus, you're really OP an hour out of every 8 real years or so.
Unknown2006-12-03 06:17:07
I've been counting down the days till that moment...

You missed it, it was like a month ago.

Succumb? Do you mean Bedevil? Succumb is a Night skill that drains loads of your mana if you don't cure it quick, Bedevil is the trans healing skill which transfers some afflictions from you to a target.

Yeah, I meant Bedevil. Shows off that I stopped playing Lusty.
Astrology isn't "hit and miss", you just have to check your enemy's nativity before the fight and figure out which signs would give good afflictions.
Hexes are better though.

Its hit and miss in the fact that sometimes you can give alright decent afflictions and other times you can do sod all.
Gandal2006-12-03 17:27:16
Wait, if I just sip a love potion on its own, does it give me an affliction that's not good?

You will be under the lovers effect, which you can cure with Choleric. Its really only good if youre in a demesne and you can get close to the mage/druid or with a Bard. Or if you use Empress I suppose.
Gandal2006-12-03 17:32:15
Which way does it work? Do they feel lust for me, or the other way around?

It goes both ways.
