If the liquid never pours out, even if you hold it upside down, htf do you sip it? O_o

A straw?
Daganev2006-12-18 04:11:44
My Nieces call them "sippy cups" It works on a basic valve system. When you suck, the air pulls up the rubber flap allowing the liquid to pass, however when you shake it around, or turn it upside down, the rubber closes the exit.

Basically, you are strong enough to suck the liquid up, but not the rubber, or some such thing. tongue.gif

Yeah, they're generally known as sippy cups.

Umm, part of a large Envoy suggestion that I was building included a roomscry ability as a class skill... should I not suggest it now that it's being added as an artifact? unsure.gif Meh.

Trackers already have an ability that allows for that type of scrying.
Sylphas2006-12-18 07:57:14
The endless vials are actually bottomless sippy cups? Nice.

A normal class ability that allowed for the use of roomscry out of an area would be a bit too powerful. Why I mentioned there is already an ability that allows for that, but has drawbacks.

... you do know that suggestion has been on the Envoy wiki for over two months with no comments by you regarding overpoweredness, right?
Unknown2006-12-18 10:53:59
you know what would be overpowered? A vial that contains every liquid in the basin in one vial. You could sip health or sip vitae from it.. even sip champagne

I would so want that sad.gif

Nope, I did not see it. If I had, I would have added a note stating that it should only work in the same area. Too late now, since it has already been submitted. However, not everything submitted is implemented anyhow.

Correction: The suggestion has not been submitted, nor added to the December list. So if you add it again in the same form you have it now, I will be sure to add in my thoughts on it. Thank you for notifying me about the suggestion. Sometimes it helps when a person explicitedly points out something I should see.

It was in the november report, but delayed for various reasons. Since I can't get any feedback at all about, well, anything, I gave up and stopped pushing that and the related ideas. Meh, whatever.

EDIT: Sorry, I'm being offtopic.gif - I'll stop.

Okay, I just want to know if the Circlet is actually worth it before I use my cameo for it. So I'd just ask how much of a reduction it is. 10%? 20%? 5%?

A little hint would be good enough, really. ninja.gif

As a general suggestion, I think auction info should be far more detailed than it is. Example: if I recall correctly, the Wands of Fire/Ice cannot be used indoors. This should be stated. I would be rather disappointed if I invested a large sum of credits for a new toy that had phantom restrictions that might have otherwise influenced my bid.

Good point.

Yes, the circlet of lucidity... how much does that reduce insanity by? does it effectivly give you an extra 15 minutes? an extra hour? Does it help speed up the rate at which you lose instanity?
Estarra2006-12-24 03:47:48
Circlet of Lucidity reduces the rate of insanity gain on astral by 50%.

Congratulations, you just made Astral twice as viable for one person, allowing that one person to increase the amount of time they can bash on Astral without resting by twofold.
