Those Christmas Auctions were all well and good... but I think it's time for the New Year's ones to begin!

A bit late maybe.. but I just realized that I'd totally pay for an artifact that lets you increase your karma above the 100% maximum. Much like the powerplex jewel does.
Reiha2006-12-28 19:31:37
I would pay over 2000 credits for an Enchanter's Pentagram or Enchanting Boots.
Sylphas2006-12-29 00:26:03
Yeah, the spectacles used to just make SECRETS 100%, which is pretty worthless by itself. Then Estarra was awesome and added free GLANCE and OBSERVE. It will also give you the observe ability if you don't already have it.

Enchanting Boots.
Click them once, they charge something as per the enchanting skill, click them three times, they teleport nexus?

It really isn't worth more. That's what I'd pay for it as well.

Actually, if you paid 600 for it to get it early aaand with the possibility that it wouldn't be a regular artifact, then no, it as a regular artifact is technically worth less.

Thats a lot of "ands" and assumptions.
I personally don't care about the novelty aspect, I care about the utility and how much I want to have it, and what it would cost me to get similar affects in other ways.

Actually, I am just waiting for new year to buy credits per normal bank transfer to pay you the first installment. ^^

Except that isn't how economics works. Look at PS3 sales on Ebay. Is an PS3 worth $5,000? No. Is instant gratification? Apparently.
You may not care about the novelty aspect, but a lot of people do, and so that should be considered in the price, else PS3's would be $5,000+ off a wal-mart shelf.

I garentee you if they sold the artifact regularly for 600 just as many people would buy it as 500 in the end. Because its that good of an artifact. I imagine it could go for 1000 actually.

I know a lot of people who bidded with it up to about 550, but then decided that it wasn't worth more. So no, I don't think that many people would buy it for 1000.
ferlas2006-12-30 00:11:22
People would buy it if it was worth 600 or 1000. Although I don't see the attraction that much. People would buy it anyway.
