Honestly there isn't much you can do against a high wounding warrior but try to hinder whore while contagion works its magic. Throw aeons inbetween the shackles and hangedmans and hope you can stick it long enough to wrack the bastard. Grim helped me a ton with it, I couldn't stand warriors without him it was so ..heh I can't say the word I am thinking.

Grom hits FAR too hard to put up with.. and stun on it.. also that is with putre as I said and stance and parry on head.... No way to save that one really.. and notice demon though on aggro and targetted to him... still didnt hit....

A timestamp would have been nice. I think the stun is around 2 seconds.. so how fast can he hit?
EDIT: I think curing and keeping up with health would be a lot easier if the stun didn't hinder you for two seconds each time.

Grom has artifacted damage weapons remember. Make sure you have all the proofing on your robe and coat and you'll want at least 50/50 great robes, combat and resilience is very useful as well.

Never start the duel yourself. He had the shield up, and attacked when you hit it. That made all your defenses go away. Not the way to do it - WAIT for him to attack first. Then, use hindering (WEB, not aeon - aeon never sticks in the first few seconds of the fight, so it isn't hindering but rather making sure you can hinder in the future), enfeeble, or just shield/timeslip more, letting the demon afflict a bit. Attack after the demon hits, with afflictions to compliment those of the demon.

Yeah, those are definitely damage weapons, rather than wounding. High damage, and artifacted people said. Nasty stuff. With the artifacts, I'd say they could be quite quick, but I'm not logged in to check Grom's race.

Grom's damage is not completely unreasonable. I could usually handle him as a mugwump moondancer, mainly because of hindering abilities. You will have to parry head, and I would recommend stancing legs so you can try to run when you need to. Let him get the first hit, as has been said. It'll still hurt, but better than wasting an attack. I'd start with web, then use enfeeble. Keep web/shackles/hangedman whoring, and throw in some aeon for good measure. Curse scrolls also come in handy if you get him held down long enough and you're not sure what to do.
Also, if he hits you and it hurts that badly, it's okay to run to heal. When you can, leave the room and wait for him to come to you. Then you can begin again with web/etc.. You can't expect to stand toe-to-toe against a warrior unless you have very high resilience and more health than you have.
