And anyone who chokes themselves in someone elses demesne is retarded.
You should let Diamante know, I think he'd be quite surprised.
Shryke2006-12-07 02:24:06
I will!
Diamante would time it, but he knew it was EXTREMELY risky for him... It's not the same as how Ceren said it should be used... Like.. Choke, wait for tic.. it has to be well set up.
Edit: even if it is well set up it sets up the possibility to get gusted into a demesned room with choke, while getting runes and staffs pointed at you from range, among other things.

I suppose you would know best, actually having the skill and all. It just looks like it has potential, that's all.
Shryke2006-12-07 02:45:27
Oh for sure, there are some fun combos out there, but they're definately better for PB's/AL's than BM, since you can only strike with one sword at a tiem any way.
Daganev2006-12-07 02:57:35
I think your best off as a teleketic mage because you have both mobility and non mobility if you need it. seems the most versatile in both single and group combat.
Warriors I think would be the most fun to play in the long run, but don't have the same max potential with all the artifacts out there now for non warriors.

Uhh, I disagree.. A gebbified sword is going to do a LOT to help you as a warrior, probably the clast that most requires arties, but also the class that benefits the best from them.
Anyway, I think the best setup would be a Shadowlord Faeling with Night, demi's get stat buffs, and while really nice stat races benefit from this, the benefit of the stat buff is multiplied by your speed bonus, which means a 3x faster race would really get a lot from it.
Right now Blademaster is the best warrior spec, so that would be my bet. Just so happens that I'm that class right now, but I promise I didn't plan it this way, and I'll never get demi anyway (and I'm pretty much unartied +5 on 1 sword to keep it from decay)

If it's in a demesne I'm going to range staff or go in for phantom and maelstrom, then staff.
Forren you always maelstrom, its OP... I should just tell you it is bugged, then you can't use it like I can't use my pits on you
Ekard2006-12-07 06:52:04
You know what?
I just realised that pointing best class in here is not so easy job. And thats really great, cose it seems to be balances pretty well.
And when full artied warrior have slightly advataqge, non artied guardian/mage/druid/wiccan (not sure about bards) is decent too.
And i have no idea what class fully artied would be the best. Warrior comes in mind cose they benefits from most stats points, so +3 stats from demi will be very handy in here.
But i cant decide what warrior is the best. Im biased toward Paladins, but it was becose i was one of them. I had sweet skills, but some other warriors have them too. Maybe Lich would not be worth for Demi, but Necromancy still haev some useful skills. Moon and Night are sweet too. Crow and Stag not so bad either. And pits can be very deadly as well.
So i cant point out best class.

There you go!

A Moonie Elfen Lord Demigod Warrior would be kinda crazy buff
or a Night Shadow Fae Demigod Warrior pretty good too

If you drop a choke in a mage/druid demense then the mage can pretty much kill you no question, the only time a choke in a demense would work is if the target hadn't got a clue what to do but in that case the person could just kill you anyway.

Yeah, but then they made it so knockdown couldn't go off if they were already on the ground. Gods, bonecrushers were overpowered then. People still complain, but it's not nearly as bad.

Unfortunately, no. Trust me, I've tried.
Between tumble and flight, there's no keeping a Dancer in choke who doesn't want to be in choke. With brumetower, there's no sap. And...cudgel just doesn't have enough bleeding power to get someone with a survival instinct to lay down and die.
But yeah, if someone would actually stay in their choked room, advantage is all mine.

Yeah, Brumetower owns druids

So, it's a warrior. One question remaining.
Considering a demigod, death should be avoided at all costs. Which knighthood specialization and tertiary skillset would serve the best to ensure your survival?

Nothing if you are a demi-god, since phoenix kicks before any life saving skill.
But if you mean non demigod and wanna stay alive try:
Crow (Nest Return I think it is called)
Necromancy (Lich)
Moon (that 5 people dance around your dead body thing)
Sacraments (rezz)
All those should help cheat death

I meant if you are a demigod, and so should prevent phoenix from firing at any costs, read: prevent your death. So which of "BM/BC/PB/AL + tertiary" setups would help you to survive the best? Necromancy with Putrefaction? Sacraments with Trueheal? Crow with Return? Night with Flight?

There are some really easy ways around it, actually. Ask Geb for the details.
