That sort of makes sense... That one of the earlier modern cites in North America has an accent similar to that of it's settlers... I'm from Missouri, and got a midland accent (i.e. no accent). That's accurate enough. South scored a little high too; that's what I get for moving to Texas

"North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.

I got midland, but I -know- I have some strong ‘Pennsylvania dutch’ (early German immigrants) influences, I'm almost insulted they didn't include that, especially something so limited in scope. (only usa included)
