You mean +3 to sleight of hand checks made to conceal an object, right?
I'm pretty sure Third Edition had a specific Concealment skill - Not so sure about Fourth - Unless we're not on the same page here at all.
Jigan2006-12-12 03:24:58
They call it 3.5. It's now sleight of hand and covers a wide range of skills.
Verithrax2006-12-12 04:15:59
We're not on the same page - I'm talking about GURPS. D&D is for suckers and small children.
Jigan2006-12-12 04:18:29
I think we are in different books of the same series. Not the same page.
Shorlen2006-12-12 06:21:14
GURPs is too forumualic. Nobilis ftw.

If you all can find out what a "Shortix laboratory key" is, I might believe it's real.

Can this thing even be called a Swiss Army Knife?
And one of its functions is "Toothpick"?

Not really... but sorta.
Its a circluar blade thats about 1/4 inch in diameter, used for cutting metal type things. I had the PDF opened about Sortix but lost it when I clicked somewhere and didn't bother reading what its used for. but I saw a picture of it.

To be fair, Rifts does that too, but that hasn't stopped Rifts from being the second-worst RPG of all time.

Found the link... its a diamond Capillary cutter, not a pizza cutter.
SHORTIXâ„¢ Diamond
Capillary Cutter
The Shortixâ„¢ uses a patented,
precision cutting wheel that
scores the circumference of
the fused-silica tubing at
precisely 90° to the column
axis. Clean ends mean leaktight
connections and less
chance of capillary clogging
from technique-dependent
cleaving. A 20x magnifying
glass is built into the handle for
inspecting the cut.

But laboratory key. Not a Shortix cutter.
Daganev2006-12-13 03:15:06
Its a brand name. I'm sure thier small cutter is called a labortory key. Like for keying (as in scratching) blanks.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shortix
even has its own wiki, which I bet was generated just for this knife
