Munsia was a girl, nubcake. She posted her pictures on the pictures thread. Which resulted in much comment over the fact that she didn't look like a hag.
Calico is British
My in game 'attitude problem' is Roleplay. (Or so I claim).
Bau has children. How has she not had sex? I am confused.
Bau2006-12-21 11:47:31
Let's rephrase for the kiddies.
If Bau has sex, it's in her 'off-times' where I'm not online, therefore, go pick on her in-game.
(Not really sure why you quoted -that- post, but ok...)

I'd just like to reiterate: Calico is British. Please keep your "silly Americans" in the right country.
Shiri2006-12-21 13:22:09
I think it's best if we ignore Calico's nationality at the moment.

Psh. Why would we do that?
(Although I hear he's from London, and that's at least a tolerable, watered-down variety of Brit. It's not like the Arabesque terrorist state of North Ireland or the backwards theocracy of Wales.)
Shiri2006-12-21 15:04:12
We don't make excuses for the Welsh or the Irish. Technically they're Brits but they're not English. It's a whole different bucket of fish and chips.

Ooooh, if my mum heard you say that, she would be out with Meibion Glyndwr burning down your house, she is a militant Welsh Nationalist
I'm only half-English, and she has threatened to stop talking to me unless I start speaking Welsh again
Shiri2006-12-21 15:22:32
Ugh, militant Welshmen.
Reminds me of that time in Pwllheli we drove past a sign covered in graffiti reading "go home English"...in Welsh.

I think adoption or magic are the only two valid excuses.

There's a couple others, but they're involved.

Does she reproduce when little bits of herself are broken away like starfish or something do?

Only one way to find out!
Just kidding, Bau, despite what others think
Unknown2006-12-21 22:43:07
Ya know, you folks really are some hard core thread derailers...
Noola2006-12-21 22:53:22
Oh.... yeah....
Ok, well, I think a jail would be a great roleplay punishment. The jail should have a desk and chair in it, and a bed. So, you can write letters and journal entries in jail about how you've been injustly imprisoned! There should be a 'warden' mob who can take your letters to be mailed! Or your visitors can. But when you're in jail, you can't use tells, or messages or shouts or yells. The ONLY way to communicate is via says to someone who visits you, or via letter. And the warden mob would give you food every so often. How often would depend on how much 'trouble' you were and how strict the jail is set to be.... the jail set to lenient would provide good food on a regular basis... the jail set to harsh would give you bread at random intervals sometimes lasting quite a while.
There are ways to escape (you could bribe the warden mob, for instance) but if you escape, you're labled an enemy and the guards will keel you!
Fun!

We already have power-crazed admin who ego trip on being gods and punish players 'ICly' keeping them from enjoying the game. We don't need to give players the power to keep other players from enjoying the game.
ETA: More than they already can, anyway.

Noola2006-12-21 23:23:48
You couldn't find a way to enjoy that?
If they implimented that, I'd have to restrain myself from turning Noola into a lawbreaker! I can think of all sorts of fun to have with a jail like that, with the ability to write and get letters out! Think of the fun!

Er, no? You'd be like a shrub that can send mail and die of starvation. No matter how much 'fun' you can have that way, you can have more fun out in the open.

On-topic: I would like some way to actually punish and ruin the fun of greifers. If these were implemented I would think they'd be used more against people who are seriously annoying and current punishments kept for those who just need a slap on the wrists.
