True! That's why it's in Real World and not in the Funnies.

I swear I read it as the "Greek Hierarchy" and it was making no sense to me. doh.gif

Now, it's actually funny.

So, how high/low do you score?

I'm a Roleplaying Gamer... although I've read a book by Piers Anthony once! Well, the same geekiness level so doesn't matter.

Also I'm a proud non-furry.
Tzekelkan2006-12-18 01:09:56
Roleplaying gamer, with a tendecy towards amateur sf/fantasy writer.

Although I would like to own a replica of an anime sword. Phallic symbolism ftw. ninja.gif

Aren't we all "roleplaying gamers"? tongue.gif

I think by roleplaying they mean tabletop.

And you're a furry! As is Nejii.
Tzekelkan2006-12-18 01:18:21
Then what do they mean by "live-action roleplaying gamers"?

LARP

Never participated in one though, so I don't reach the next tier. Yet.
Tzekelkan2006-12-18 01:24:13
That's almost as cool as owning a sword! *drools*
Shiri2006-12-18 02:24:08
Roleplaying gamers are my lowest tier. I also branch over into anime fans who insist on subtitles but that's less high up.

EDIT: Also, I don't know who Piers Anthony or that guy above him is.

Despite the avatar, no I'm not furry. tongue.gif Changeling ftw!

And I'm scared of the last box. Furry Star Trek? Yipe.

Piers Anthony was the first author to get me hooked on fantasy as a kid. I didn't want to venture into unknown territory, so I stuck to his books. I'm now not sure if I am proud or sad to say that I have over 100 of his novels sitting on my shelf.

The erotic furry Mary Sue Star Trek fanfiction is simultaneously disturbing and more disturbing. It exists on multiple levels of disturbingness, something that is extremely, extremely rare.

I can safely say that I am not excessively geeky. I mean, who uses the term Japanimation anymore?
Sylphas2007-01-02 07:12:42
Bah. Pokémon fan over the age of 6. sad.gif
lydin2007-01-02 08:47:46
Those tiers can't be comensurable. Video gamers are much less geeky than anime watchers.

I score Heinlen (Stranger in a Strange Land is a favorite!), and video gamer. Do I get the third tier if I dabbled in some Klingon because artificial languages are cool, but I don't watch Star Trek?
Shiri2007-01-02 08:49:37
Video gamers aren't much less geeky than anime watchers...

You are so biased.
Shiri2007-01-02 12:54:19
I do both! sad.gif
Kaenyte2007-01-02 15:07:13
Ack! I'm all over the place! Well, not really.

Lesse...
-Video Gamer
-Roleplaying Gamer (duh, look at the forum I'm on)
-SFTV fans (oh god... my cousin ranks at the bottom of that column doh.gif )
-Published Science Fiction/Fantasy Author
-Science fiction/fantasy literature fan.

Hmm... looking at that, that's not too bad.

Furries?
