How often do quests reset?

Erm... I never met it in person, actually. We talked in TELLs.

That does sound a little iffy on the legality side. Pretty sure it spams the Gods when you do that too.

I recall someone saying it's against the rules. It was a long time ago though, and maybe even in Achaea. So I'm not sure.

On the topic though, Stewartsville is the slowest-resetting from all the village quests. It's about 11 hours. The quickest-resetting one is obviously Acknor, the chieftains change so fast it's not even funny.

Faster than the rockeater training tunnels? blink.gif

And about that 'against the rules' thing... why would it necessarily be illegal?

"I don't care that you can talk to people five planes away, tesseract from one to another, shout across all creation without your lungs exploding and send so-called 'messages' to people while they are in an inexplicable bodiless form, only to be heard later when they wake up from their bizarre meditation - you are going to walk to that village and talk to that person face-to-face."

It's because they sent quick (EDIT: quick as in hardly IC, for example "tell Bob zxc") tells only to see if the tell went through.

Ahah! I recall it was in Achaea. Yup, Achaea.

Anyway, I'm sure that as long as it's an RP-tell, for example: "Greetings kind sir or madam, how do you do? Anything I can help you with?", it will be all just fine.

Besides, I used to check if gem-cloaked enemies are around by sending them tells (and blaming on mistells!) too, so I'm not the one to throw stones. Hey, it even worked off-plane if your Planar is high enough!

I used to have an alias to tell a rockeater, "Greetings, little one. I can sense you through the aether." just so I knew when to go hunting for them. tongue.gif

That's just cruel!

Hello there little... rock thing? *pet* I can see you, so don't move, okay? *stab*
Tzekelkan2006-12-18 01:38:04
Not stab! Incinerate! closedeyes.gif

I'm almost certain that one of the admins posted here about how sending tells like that to check if the mob was dead or alive was illegal.

I remember because way way back when, I had the number of the black wakabi (3204, the number is seared into my brain) thinking I could find out if it had been killed at any time by sending it a tell. Just before I was going to start using that I remember seeing on forums that that wasn't allowed. Not 100% on that though.

EDIT: Nevermind. What I was going to say didn't make sense.
Genevieve2006-12-18 09:03:58
There's a black wakabi?
Diamondais2006-12-18 16:00:16
Yes, and you'll have to explore the quests in the Skarch to understand its meaning.
