Tragmar proudly shows off a dark, serpentine creature:
This dark creature is shrouded in shadows that cling tightly to its form,
obscuring much of the sickly, pale grey skin that lies beneath. The creatre's
limbs are thin and lithe, its movements appearing more like the slithering of a
serpent than any true bipedal motion. Baleful eyes glare malignantly out from
its face, filled with a ravenous, terrible desire. Thin veins are visible
through the pale flesh of the serpentine creature, like a meshwork of cancerous
growths that protrude from its skin. Rows of glittering sharp teeth line the
mouth of the beast, as thin as needles and dripping a foul saliva.

They're rather weak individually, but in swarms... owch.

Not to be a jerk or anything... But it seems that we post EVERYSINGLE out of the ordinary thing on the forums.

I have a bit of a problem with it... If we're post it in the hopes that the Admin will release some bit of info, I highly doubt that they will. The admin likes to surprise us.

If we've come to speculate, by the time we're done speculating, whatever it is will be done with and it will have passed us by. The game is moving forward. If we're in it or not. So if we waste time speculating, we miss the event.

So why must every out of the ordinary thing come to the forums?

Oh, you can be assured that not every single thing out of the ordinary is posted on the forums.

However, this one has just annihilated most of Celest, so... I guess it gets a post.

He's right though. Far far too many events end up on the forums before they even really get going. Consider it the "OOC Event Mentality."

But what about us poor people who should be studying for midterms and aren't logged in but are trolling the forums anyways? Curse you, Admins, for tantalizing me!

If we wanna discuss the event in the forums, wait till AFTER the bloody event is over. That way, we're not wasting time while the event is going on. Just let the event run it's course. We don't need blow by blow accounts in the forums.

Yes. But that's what happens when about 30 spawn right on top of you... They hit really fast.

Aww. No love for people who can't log as much but still want to know what's happening?

Nasty snake things invaded all the nexus worlds that are weak individually but are near-instakills when they zerg in groups of 10+. (There was a group of 50 at the Pool.) No one knows anything else, and we must BAND TOGETHER TO DEFEND THE MOTHERSHIP! FIGHT FOR GLORY, MEN!

I was actually posting in reply to the "close the thread" requests.

We already know what's happened so far, but we can't find out how it develops if the thread is closed.
