Zenji, please point out where we could have done anything differently in this current chain of events that would have been supported by the admin.
EDIT: And, for the record, I don't care what size the slice of the pie I get it is. I only care if I can choose which pie I can get a slice from.

Just to be clear I'm not blaming, pointing fingers or anything else for people going along with that plan. IC'ly I care a lot about it, OOC'ly not so much.
The only example I can think of that shows what I would have wanted to see more of is the conclusion of the tainted fae event where Daevos started killing the Moondancers who were working with the Nihilists to fix Gorgulu. It was again quite clear how the event was supposed to go but Daevos fought against that. The outcome didn't change but the effort was made, a stand taken and an interesting aspect to the event was added.

To lighten this (horrible, horrible) event up a little bit:

Too easy, I'm not even going to bother with crushing your spirit and ego.

I don't mean to be overly critical, but in general, I find major Lusternian events follow this pattern:
1. Mass death of players be it by Kethuru, Metal creatures, Golden Champions, Gas traps that kill through vitae, Pyriennes, mini serpents, big Serpent, etc. You also have events that are based on releasing something incredibly annoying like Marani Veloske, who likewise requires sacrifice after sacrifice to take down (and while I personally love Marani Veloske, she is absolutely a pest to everyone. You'd think she could discriminate a little bit better and be wortwhile to raise. /minirant)
2. Elder Gods just up and disappear. They never seem to be around when their insight is most needed -or- alternatively they have absolutely no idea (but later do) -or- they could care less.
3. Most people want to totally disregard everything that has ever happened in Lusternia and work together (I love when people and most of all organizations such as Celest in this case refuse to do this - it takes balls, but its soooo much better for consistency imo... of course, it never pays off).
4. There is usually only one major path to follow and a linear solution is provided. Catarin at least attempted to break this at the meeting on Avechna, and she was totally overruled and told to go with the linear flow.

I've got a WTF!!!
I've been reading news posts and a seren scroll. It seems like there are two different quatrains numbered 968
Does anyone know what is up with that?

Yup. I've seen that as well. The 'golden hair' one is apparently a pile of steaming , so ignore it.

Someone posted a fake one on the forums as a little experiment, which basically shows that people can't keep OOC/IC separate.
Saran2006-12-24 08:55:25
A little hard for my character not to react to, Saran'd need proof or a distraction

It's Selthar who decided to take it ingame. Blame him, he posted a huge news post about it, so we assumed it was something ingame.

Raven and Hart got all bondey.
Then they broke up. It's like a cheap teenage soap opera.
WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE! -wail-
But it was pretty sad, though. I guess that means he'll turn back into Crow. Weep.

Lies, I haven't posted any news posts in the last... fifty in-game years! I've just loudly complained about everything! You're looking for Caffrey.

It would've been nice if the serpent actually would've visited other places as well, I really feel bad for the Mag people.
