No, this is obviously the worst idea anyone has ever had and I should be given a cuban neck-tie.

People who ask for threads like this to be closed need to have their mouths closed. Not everyone can log in. Not everyone even cares. (rogues, for example) there is no reason for players to be punished because you feel like being condescending. Cut it out.

When I posted about the event when Reality was breaking apart. We only put in what has been happening so that those who can't log in can be kept updated then make speculations on what will be the results of this and that.

If it is illegal to talk about events while it's on going then my thread should have been closed long before anyone could add in their posts.

We'll let the admins and moderaters decide what to do with this thread and for now, let's just keep it updated on what's happening so that those who can't play right now won't feel 'left out'.

Anyway, my brother is using my computer right now so can't log in...

Yeah damn GNT. Come on Lusternia mods why dont ya make some events which happen in the daytime instead of making us europeans stay up till 4 AM or something to catch them. Even something small but I dont know why we have to miss everything good.

So, what's the consensus? Am I keeping people updated with this topic, or should I go shove it?

Totally seconded. Events usually happen right after midnight or sometime between 2-4 am my time.. which almost always make me miss them. I'm very glad for threads like these were I can just catch up on what I missed. Not everyone lives in america (or even wants to) kthx.

Yeah but the event started about 7 hours ago.. which was midnight for me and I was going to bed. Now it's morning and I'm waiting for class to start.

EDIT: If it was one of the smaller events it would be done by now.. which means I'd have missed it. Events simply start at a time that europe usually sleeps. I don't think that can be changed easily though since the time most people are around appears to be then.

I amaze myself sometimes... I fought a couple hundred of the creatures for an hour or two, only to go to work and come back realizing I had NO ARMOUR ON. Just wow, that's about the dumbest mistake ever.

And yeah, timing sucks. It's 7:30am for me right now, and I was really lucky I got a couple of days off during the Xion event, 'cause I was up till 2 in the morning for 3 days in a row. It was still cool though

Recently, hostile creatures have invaded the Nexus Worlds of the Basin.
Dark, serpentine creatures in LARGE numbers have been sighted in ALL
nexus worlds. These creatures, while weak on their own, attack in very
large groups and are capable of taking down even the most powerful of
us, sapping our health and taking it for their own. Not content to
simply invade the Nexus World, if left unchecked the creatures will head
for the opening into Prime and try to escape there, invading the city or
commune that the nexus. Novices and in fact EVERYONE are advised to not
enter the Nexus World unless you know it has recently been cleaned out,
or if you are in a group of people going in specifically to clean it
out. These are highly dangerous creatures.

For the rest of this news post, I'll be discussing events I have
witnessed that may hopefully shed some light on the current issues we
ALL face, and perhaps lead someone to the clues that will solve this
mystery.

I went to speak to Lord Japhiel about what has recently taken place, and
He was very interested. The creatures were alien to Him, but He felt
more information was needed. In fact, He wondered the same thing that
Archmage Marinus wondered: What happened prior to this invasion? We had
no answers to give Him. No one seems to be able to think of anything
strange that happened that could have been a prelude to this, with the
exception of the invasion of Crisixes in Dairuchi that happened a year
or two ago. Lord Japhiel posits that they are more than likely from
Aetherspace and that some sort of intelligence must be guiding them, be
it their own or something commanding them. Upon trying to greet them, I
was promply killed, so that rules out their own intelligence, I think.
When handed both live and dead creatures, they dissolved in His hand
into a seething mass of sparkling light.

Lord Japhiel has asked that we of the Basin share information together.
I will follow His wishes despite what some in my city may desire. Here
is what Jigan and I learned from Japhiel, and Creslin will soon follow
with what he and I learned from Archmage Marinus of the merians, who was
also very interested in what was happening with the nexus worlds. I have
shared this information with you. Please reciprocate, is all I ask. Let
us at least share information if we will not work together, to help
prevent any more deaths among our citizens from occuring.

Here's a further update to the situation concerning the serpentine
creatures.

While with Genevieve at the Arysian Isles, Archmage Marinus seemed
interested to hear of the recent problems with the serpentine creatures
in the Nexus worlds. After listening to our descriptions of what had
occured, and seeing the body of one, he said they did not seem like the
Gorgogs, not elemental in nature, but perhaps cosmic. He agreed that
someone may be opening rifts for them to enter through. He went on to
say that if it were a mystical occurance, there might be information
about them in Magnagoran prophetic records. He recommended we seek out
the High Priestess of the Holy Emanations at the Shallamurine Cathedral.
He believed she could have some knowledge which would help us.

Forren, Grom, Genevieve and myself, along with a few others along the
way, then travelled to the Cathedral, to find that the Priestess was
asleep and had to be woken. After trying for some time, we were unable
to wake the Priestess in order to speak with her. Further knowledge and
perhaps resolution of the current events may rest on someone succesfully
awakening the Priestess and learning what she has to say.

I don't really care about the posting of logs (Some MU* encourage log posting, some explicitly forbid it).
