Why does starting an event thread always inspire such hate from some people? If players want to spend time on the forums and risk missing out on all the good stuff they should feel free really!

Stayed up till 5am for the event, ended up logging out because the only good thing I could do was playing cannon fodder for the creatures. Shame really, it was a lot of fun.

Maybe a new forum section should be created to discuss ingame events? So people who don't want to read about it can ignore it. I don't think it's bad to stay updated about what's going on ingame but it does kinda suck when you're at college and people are all like "omg look what's going on I know everything about it blabla". Maybe think of those a bit more when writing here? Although I must agree, events are always something that gets me all exited.

Insofar as complaining about the timing of events, I've actually been impressed with how well Lusty keeps these events going long enough for everyone to at least be able to participate actively for SOME of it.

nah...they don't. They're all insomniac freaks like me!...considering I was there for the start of the silly creatures until 5am when I decided I had enough of waiting around for them to appear again when they were taking longer than the previous rounds to show up!...

What did annoy me a little was the lack of updates in game in Magnagora after I left, and that all those people who got favoured for being there that last hour of the event...sucks. Oh well.

Is the next part of the event tonight? I really should be sleeping.. :S

Well, getting favoured or not, I certainly had fun with the event. Was nice to see people taking the lead, coming up with strategies and working together to defeat the creatures. It was worth staying up for, just wish I could have stayed till the end. Wondering what will happen next as well.

Uhhh..."the end" seems a ways off at the moment. Do you all really think this is a two day event?

I stayed around till 3.30am using the magic power of coffee, but unfortunately I had to get some sleep before work! Great event though, I really enjoy the events in Lusternia.

Yup, chill, Magnagoran higher-ups have been asking around for the names of everyone there (I specifically mentioned you, by the way), as I'm sure all the cities and communes have probably done.

I looked for them a few times in AetherRavenwood, but either someone obsessively cleared them right before I went up or I just missed them three times.
